Mamie 1 Attachment(s) I'd forgotten about Yorkie Talk. My little 4 yr. old Stevie Rae had an accident 2 summers ago; and it was much harder losing her than my 14 yr. old Yorkie, Cricket, several years before that. Well, a few months later I got my little Mamie, who is now 1 1/2 years old. She is different from Stevie Rae and Cricket, because she has long hair on her ears and much thicker hair. She is a bit harder to keep groomed, but when she is freshly bathed, she is quite beautiful. Here is a picture I took of her today after her bath. Even though it is heart breaking when we lose a little one, I think I will always have Yorkies as my pets. They are so full of life. Each of mine have been 3 1/2 - 4 lbs. Those little girls were all brave lions on the inside. You can't help but admire their courage and zest for life. |
Mamie is a gorgeous little girl:) I am so sorry for the loss of Stevie Rae and Cricket, may they RIP. |
Mamie is a pretty girl - congrats! So sorry to hear about Cricket and Stevie. We just lost a Cricket last Nov. |

Mamie is a gorgeous little girl. Sorry about the loss of your other Yorkies. |
Aw...Mamie is a beautiful girl. What a sweet face she has...love it :) So sorry for the loss of your other babies. RIP sweetings. |
Wow! Mamie sure is pretty! And very shiny! Beautiful.... I agree it is very painful to lose them, but I found out it is also painful to try to live without them. So very sorry for you loss of your two sweet babies. Hugs... |
Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. Mamie is such a funny little thing. Today, I'd begun to draw the water for my bath and when my back was turned I heard, "Kerplunk!" As quickly as she'd fallen in, she was out of there! I had to dry her all over again. Oh, my other Yorkies didn't have as much hair around the snout as Mamie does and she makes such a mess when she drinks water. Any suggestions? |
