One Ear Up 3 Attachment(s) My little girl (Ruby) is getting bigger now as she has managed to get one of her ears to stand up and is working on the other as hard as she can god bless her. She is now up to so much mischief it is impossible to keep up with her but what fun she is. The little boy Raggs is starting to develop and can now handle Ruby very well indeed he gives as much as she does. Toilet training is going OK with Ruby asking to go out with just an occasional accident but poor baby Raggs is still confused but early days yet. Adorable pictures...love the one ear up. They look like they're having so much fun playing together :) |

The strange thing is they will both crash out at the same time just curling up and going to sleep wherever they drop. They will sleep for an hour or so then off again. This picture is Raggs the younger of the two. Attachment 344817 |
Aw...they are both so sweet. I love their little faces, precious. What a blast they must be...enjoy. |
They are both adorable! Thanks for sharing :) |
Love those pics. Keep them coming. :) |

I took this shot this morning at 6:30 am while she was sitting on Joan's knee. Her left ear has now started to rise and she is looking good. I am a bit concerned about her coat looking so like a "bad hair day" but as I know so little about this breed I am hoping "someone" out there will tell me I am worried about nothing as she has a normal looking coat. We have introduced her to the brush and comb much to her disgust but give her time she will accept them sooner or later. Attachment 344842Attachment 344843 |
Your little angels are absolutely precious! Makes me want another one. You might try trimming the excess hair off the ears to help them stand. The extra hair just adds weight to the ears. Also try massaging them anytime they will let you. When they teeth, the ears usually go up and down. You're lucky that her ears are already triying to stand. It took my Betty Boop's ears at least a year before they decided to stand for good. Have fun with your little darlings. They grow up fast, but I have found that the "puppy" in them will always be there. My Betty Boop will be 2 in June and she is still playing like a puppy. |
Ruby and Raggs are adorable. I love the last 2 pictures of Ruby - she keeps getting cuter. I wouldn't worry about her coat, they can have "bad hair days" as they grow up. It's part of the change from puppy coat to adult coat. |

As far as massaging her ears goes that is a job she would allow me to do all day and all night if I was so inclined, she just love me doing it. I am more concerned about her overall coat and how it looks as Raggs is so smooth looking but I do know it may well change on him as well. Attachment 344847 |

Both are so very precious |
1 Attachment(s) Your pups are so cute! I adore this breed - after most of my life having cocker spaniels, because my mom did, this one came to me as a gift, and I fell in love. I always wanted one, but like you, don't know a lot about the breed and will learn as I go along. I do know I always wanted a little dog, and at 6 1/2 lbs., Gracie is perfect. She just had her first birthday, and now I'm wondering about her colors, and if the black & greys on her face & head will still change. I was told she is considered blue & gold, and her "blue" is coming in on her shoulders. Here's my one ear up, one down pic...I think those are adorable! |

2 Attachment(s) Little Raggs today was playing with his toy cat. He threw it around all over the room, growled at it, barked errr..well.....errrr...squeaked at it....and jumped all over it for over an hour while his sister Ruby just slept in the Crate. Eventually Raggs became tired out and collapsed on the floor right where he stopped playing and went to sleep. Attachment 344873Attachment 344872 |
