My giant yorkie~Baxter

I'm new here. I have lurked for a while now, without registering, but I finally took the plunge.

Here is a picture of my baby...he is 14 weeks old, and 4lbs 10 oz. I know, he's giant. My sister has a 1 year old who weighs 4lbs even. Bax isn't as tall as her, so he is smaller in that respect, but he weighs more. My sis teases me that he's a giant and will weigh 15 lbs. At the rate he's going, he probably will! LOL

Here is a picture of him right after his first grooming. He has definitely stolen our hearts!

Eeeek! He is soooo adorably cute! I may be biased though ;) Jackson was 6lbs at 12 weeks old. He's now 2.5yrs old and 15-16lbs. :)

He is very handsome...tell your sister he'll probably hit 6 lbs and should be a nice size to keep her dog in check! lol

What a cutie!! I wouldn't worry about him being a giant...they are precious no matter what size they are. (My Jacob is 12 lbs)

You made me laugh with the "lurked" - I thought I was the only one who "lurked" for a while before they registered! Hello fellow lurker!!! Your dog is such a sweetie. If he does top out over 7 lbs, we have the perfect club for such a beautiful big boy - the teapot club. All yorkies are beautiful!;)

Thank you all for the welcome...I sure think my baby is a cutie, and it's so nice to hear others say it! =)

He wasn't feeling well yesterday, and like a typical momma, I started worrying. By nightfall, he was back to himself. I think he's teething...my goodness, just like a human baby! LOL

I love Baxter!!:D My little boy Max was 4.2 pounds at 12 weeks. Now, 11 months later he's a healthy 13.5 pound boy.

Baxter has a beautiful face! He may be just a little over standard but no giant! I am betting on one sure thing -- he will stay lovable! :D

Welcome, and Baxter is adorable. He may not be as big as you think.... and anyway that means there is more of him to love. There are lots of "full figured" Yorkies on YT, and are just as lovable as the smaller ones (some people think even more so).

I have two yorkie girls. Penny is 4 and Abby is 3. Penny weighs 6.3 pounds and Abby weight 5.2 pounds. I have pictures on here somewhere but new to site so still learning the photo thingy. Anyway...yesterday at the grooms we saw the most beautiful male yorkie and his mommie. She told us he weighs 19 pounds! I didn't know yorkies got that big! He was absolutely the most beautiful well proportioned dog I have seen in a very long time! I love my babies and woundn't want them any bigger in our living space but I could only stare at this dog ;0)

Aw he is soooo cute!! Buster was 4 lbs at 11 weeks... right now he is 7 months and 10lbs :)

I have a big one too... Well she wasnt that big at that age. She is 6 months and 5.8 pounds. She still outgrew both parents, but I dont care. She is the cutest, sweetest dog ever.:aimeeyork

My ZoE is 5 1/2 pounds at 19 weeks...already bigger than my last yorkie was full grown.
