Hope~ my recent rescue! 4 Attachment(s) I finally got her groomed last Saturday by a wonderful volunteer. Her, me, and my bf all worked together to get this nearly 4 lb girl groomed!! She's never been groomed so she attacks and yelps. We still didn't get to pull her ear hair yet...her dew claws were almost penetrating into her skin! She told me to have the vet do it (dew claws and ear hair removal) when she's under because she struggles too much...She also helped expressed her anal gland, Hope screamed!, but A LOT of stuff came out as it was completely full! Well, Here's the New Hope! ;) The last picture is what she looked like the first night I got her. |

OMG she is a little doll. Thank you for rescuing her. |
She is just precious! I love her little outfit as well! Thank you so much for rescuing her! I just rescued a 5 year old six pound baby myself named Effy and she's adjusting well. I've had to bath her twice since I've brought her home but we have not made it to the groomers just yet. I'm scared to hand her off to someone just like that and am already doing research on where to go lol! Hope she's adjusting well! Karina Effy & Jiggy's Momma <3 |
Bless you for helping this little soul have a second chance at a happy secure life. She's just darling!! |
She's adorable! Thank you for rescuing her... She looks very happy :) |
Thanks everyone! I can't wait for her to grow out! She's only been with me for one week and there's already a huge difference! Her coat will be gorgeous and she has the softest hair!! :) |
Awww, she's very cute. Did you get an appt for her dental ? |
Just went back to look at pics again & her face looks much better, not so irritated looking. What did you do for that ? |

she looks cute and its hard to give them a grooming if they don't want to do that. when my binky go older she was never in a shorter coat and she hated the shaver. My daughter and her vet tech friend would come over and do it for me. she forgives you though and loves you anyway the look she gives you when you took her pic says it all. the dollar tree used to sell those little razors in the makeup area for women. I'll post a link of something similar. I used to use that to remove little matts on my older girl she didn't seem to mind that compared to others and I also used it on her ears. just don't go too close to the edge of the back of the ears with the clippers it will knick their little ears. I use hair cutting scissors to trim the edges and use my fingers as a guide on right side of ear ..I usually cut up towards the point then down the other side of the ear. This will be a tad hard though until she trusts you a bit more you can do it on your lap with a towel to catch the hairs if she will sit better that way. |
too cute!!! |
