yorkies and their toys 1 Attachment(s) Here is Farley with a few of his toys in his bed. Do your yorkies do this? Farley will carry alll of his toys to his bed and sit with all of them and play with each of them. Its very funny. So i usually keep most in a toy box and switch them out every day. That way he only has a couple to play with. Sometimes he even tries to carry his toys out to go potty, lol. Also, whats your yorkies favorite toys? Farley loves loves loves stuffed toys with squeakers!!! These are definatly his favorite. |
Awww, he is just toooo cute! Love the picture....Lexi actually puts her favorite toys in a pile behind her daddy's chair. We call it her secret stash..and what is so funny she thinks no one can see them :D Lexi's favorite toys are those little stuffed animals that are flat..no stuffing just squeakers. She has such a little mouth those are the only ones she can squeak :D |
Farley is too cute. The answer to your question is a Big, Fat No! Mine drag them out and leave a trail of toys all over the house. |
farley is adorable. I wish mine played with their toys like Farley. Mine just pull them out and leave them for Mamma to clean up.lol |
It's like a security blanket, only with his toys. Too cute. Mine could care less about toys, but the Papillon will round up all the chewys and put them in her bed. |
Farley thanks you all for the compliments !!!! :) i guess they all have their own unique ways!!!! i love watching him with his toys!! Even when he hears a squeaky toy on tv he goes crazy! Runs to the tv and watches!!!! And he gets soooo happy when he sees a new toy!!! He sure is fun to watch, my other dogs , a puggle/ jack russell mix that i rescued and bottle fed, and our rat terrier mix, they both like toys but not nearly as much as farley! All they want to do is destroy them!!! Farleys toys would last forever if his brothers didnt ruin them, lol |
Tibbe drags his toys all over the house but most of them he scatters about the den after running all over the house growling and shaking them to death! A couple he hides between the couch cushions and one or two he puts in his fuzzy dog bed where he occasionally retires when he's mad at me. Every night I collect all of them into his toy basket and every morning he puts them all back out all over again. I change out the toys in his basket about once every two weeks until we run through his drawer full of toys and start the whole rotation back over again. Tibbe loves to play "hide and seek with chew bones". He taught this game to me the first time he did it. He will bait me with showing me his chew bone, forcing it into my hand, grabbing it back out and running off into the living room. After zipping around in there for about 2 minutes, he dashes into the den sans the chew bone and runs up to me, jumping up and down and barking excitedly as he looks toward the living room, eyes big as saucers with excitement and starts running toward the living room. Eventually I follow him and go into the living room saying "Where did Tibbe hide the chew bone?!?!" I go all over the living room saying that over and over, Tibbe right on my heels, looking under each piece of furniture until I find his hiding place, yell out that "Mommie won 'Hide and Seek'!", pick up the bone as Tibbe races around, make a big celebration of it and come back into the den with the chew bone and throw it across the den, singing out "Hide and Seek". Tibbe races for the chew bone, flies around the den, starts to bait me with the chew bone again and dashes off into the living room to hide it again...............He could play this game all day. Mommie, not so much. |
Farley is a cutie. I have 3 girls, but Zoeybear is the only one who likes toys. I throw them all in her bed for storage. Each day she gets 5-7 toys out and scatters them all over the house. I need to teach her to do what Farley does and take them all back to her bed. Lol |
We have two toy boxes, one is big and wooden, they can't get into that one- that is where I keep all the brand new toys. I buy toys whenever they are on sale and keep that box filled. Then they have another soft open toy box that they can get into. I try to keep about 30 or so toys in there at all times. They usually empty it every day and I clean up and put them all back at night. As toys get ruined to the point of being dangerous I throw them away and replace with something from the new toy box. |
How cute. Kacee takes her toys in the living room and puts them in her "safe spot" on the back of the couch.:) |
Farley is adorable :) |
He is adorable!!! Love that he brings his toys to bed with him. |
Awe Farley is adorable and I love that name! Onni takes whatever toy she chooses; it does not matter whether it belongs to her, one of our other dogs or our grandson, because in her Yorkie world ALL toys belong to her! |
Thank you! Thats true, lol, Farley thinks they all belong to him also. |
farley is adorable! pixie is around 9 months now and she loves to play with as many toys as she can at one time. it's pretty funny seeing a 3.2 pound little puppy dragging all these toys everywhere. she likes to bring them up the doggie stairs and on to my couch! haha i just walked past the couch and counted 4 different toys on it! her favorite toy has always been one of those "crazy critters" that don't have any stuffing in it. she has the fox one. they have a squeaker at each end. she chews the squeaker and goes crazy over that thing. she takes it with her everywhere. i even have brought it with to the drs office for her. she is toy crazy! lol! thanks for sharing! |
