Last year on this forum, I said I was not crazy about bows but liked to use rhinestone on Blue. Well, yesterday I went to the store and bought some... :::cough::: RIBBONS... :P

1. Saw some cute ribbons and had to buy them :rolleyes:
2. Blue wearing a cute bow. :D
3. Blue with my sister's Chih, Java

It happens to the best of us!

My dogs have never worn anything but a sweater until YT. Now they have more clothes than me!;)

Awwwwww how cute!!!!! My daughters told me just yesterday that I have a dog obsession. After the 4th package this week came in the mail from ebay for one of the dogs. :D They said they were going to seek out help for my problem!!!!! LOL

Thank you! There are more beautiful ribbons. I wanted zebra print, glitter red, purple and few others, My sister had to push me away from the ribbons area. :( Next time, I'll shop ALONE! :p

LOL! That's funny. The clothing/sweater fever hasn't infected me yet! Blue did have a jacket (gave it to Java), it caused tangles. I probably will buy him a new jacket if I decide to keep him in a bell bottom style during cold season. YT needs to have a warning to let people know they join YT at their own risk and YT is not responsible for our addictions!

LMBO! I wont deny that I did feel guilty for making Blue look like a girl last year. What about now? I don't care anymore! Your boys will look very handsome with the bows. :D

Thank you! :) I make bows not professional way. I use band to loop the bow. i am lazy to use stiff fabric and to sew. I'm not crafty person so my bows are pretty informal. No way! You eBayed...my boy has learned to shush about the eBay packages...it's when he sees the brown bags from the pet store and the groomers and the pet boutique he cringes and asks...how much...?:confused:
I always tell him.."trust me you don't want to know" and he doesn't!:p
Shopping online is the best! You get great deals, can find something you might not be able to locally and then in a couple days you get a present in the mail!

Thank you! :) I make bows not professional way. I use band to loop the bow. i am lazy to use stiff fabric and to sew. I'm not crafty person so my bows are pretty informal. It's hard to explain how I do it. I bought the book from the lady online (Dog Bow Instructions, How To Make Dog Bows by Doggie Bow Ties). She explains well how to make bows. looks pretty darn professional to me from your pics! I love it! Thanks for posting the link on the book..think I'll get one too maybe the boy will freak out less if he sees me making something and buying bulk ribbons instead of paying for them at the boutique...hm he can use all those brown bags to breath into when I tell him how much the ribbons there used to cost us.:mademyday

That is a nice compliment! Thank you! haha the craft stores are going to love you! I found a link that's similar how I do with the band tying to the bow.


I also hot glue the rhinestone to bow. Remember I am not a crafty person so this is fast and easy way but I will attempt to sew the cow print ribbon. I want a pearl or two on it. Hope I am good at sewing!
The book is helpful and has the resources where you can buy ribbons, rhinestones, etc. Let us know how you do with your bows if you go for it!! :D

Very cute and I feel your pain....I broke down and bought ribbon to make some bows. LOL! (I have two boys)
