Introducing my sweet Sophie 2 Attachment(s) I've had Sophie for 3 months now and she is a joy. She came to me in very bad condition. She is about 2 to 3 years old, she had never had a hair cut or toenails trimmed. Her hair was so matted and dirty we had to have most of it cut off. The vet said she was in pretty good health all things considered. She had not been spaded and she had large hernia. She has had all of her surgeries and shots and is ready to have a happy life. Whoever had her must have been very cruel because she was afraid to pee or poop. She is doing much better, we give her a treat and praise her whenever she does her job. I do not know much about yorkies but she has won my heart. |
Congratulations for rescuing Sophie. I too adopted a little one and the transformation is amazing. She went from being this sweet little submissive girl to a diva. I admit it's my fault but after being used for a breeding dog for her whole life, I figure now is her turn to be pampered. |
Thank you so much, your little one is adorable. Sophie is so much company for me, she comes to work with me everyday. Everyone tells me I spoil her but that's what I'm here for. |

:) I am so happy to hear how you're helping Sophie. There are so many animals that are mistreated. When I watch Animal Planet with Teppi sometimes I cry when I see the animals they rescue but then it makes me very happy to see them later in the show when they have loving parents & have recooperated. It sounds like you're gonna be that wonderfull loving parent for Sophie. You are very lucky to have her. I have a 13 wk old Yorkie named Teppi. I still have alot to learn about her. Don't worry you'll do fine. YT has alot of really nice people that are more than willing to help you with advice or just a friend. I've found a great friend here that has been a God send. Stanziog, I will never understand people, it would break your heart to see how long she will go without going potty. If she has an accident she will go and hide. She gets better everyday! |
