Our new lil' girl - Crissy "Boo"

Well . . . I picked up Crissy (because she is my Christmas gift) "Boo" (because she came to her forever home on Halloween) from paulathegroomer today.

My daughter immediately fell in love with her! My daughter and Crissy are all curled up together in the bed right now.

I'll be putting her back in her ex-pen before I go off to bed though.

Carter & Cooper didn't like the idea of their new lil' sister being cooped up in the ex-pen. They cried and whined and barked and talked up a storm! She was very satified in her safe place!

It will be an interesting few days around here. She is soooo little compared to the two boys!

Oh Lisa !! SHE IS JUST PRECIOUS !!!! I was waiting for your call yesterday to hear about her but KNEW you'd post her picture this morning so I was patient - she is DARLING and I'm soooo jealous I can't stand myself !! What a little cutie - has your hubby seen her yet ?

Congratulations!!! Lisa, she is so gorgeous ..... you are going to have so much fun!! We want to hear about every little "poop"!!! ;) When Toto was that small, we just couldn't stop staring at her .... and we still do it!! :p

Villette -- the traffic was absolutely AWFUL near Houston. YUCK! How do you cope with that?

My dh has seen her photo that I posted here. He was asking how she is getting along with her brothers.

As for our first night, when I went to bed, I put Cooper in my daughter's bed (where he belongs) and took Crissy to my room in her ex-pen. There was no whining or restlessness. She settled down and slept until morning. After she woke this morning, I allowed her out the ex-pen and was on the phone. She re-entered the pen to poop on her pad!!! If only it were that easy, huh?!

I'll keep you all posted!

I cope by CUSSING. IT IS TERRIBLE in Houston - I just stay clear of the bad areas and pretty much know them all after 25 years here - it sucks though !!

She is SO ADORABLE - so you got to meet Paula - Did Kimberly come too ? I wish I could have ridden with you - but it looks like you made it back safe and sound AND with a brand new DOLL !!

I'm still so jealous....I might not talk to you anymore :D :D :D :D

I had to leave before Kimberley got off of work. I guess I made the right decision considering I ended up in the rain. It would have been worse had I waited. It rained until right around Lafayette -- 1 1/2 hours from home.

She pooped on her pad?!? Yayyyyyy ..... Crissy Boo!!!!!! Good job!! Hope she got a little treat and/or celebration! :) We still do that when Toto goes on her pad ... it allows us to give her a little extra attention plus it allows her to make sure we are focused on her!! If we happen not to notice, she "tells" us!! Sometimes she makes sure we are watching and she gets on her pad and "pretends" to go .... she naturally gets nothing! :cool:

Oh, I just had to edit to say that I love her name- it's so cute, and even better because of the significance of it!

We're extremely pleased with her so far!

The boys are settling down and aren't as upset when she is in the ex-pen now. I have to be sure they are "nice" to her when I turn my back before I can allow them to interact more.

She's been sleeping most of the day. She is just sooo tiny. Our first vet appt is at 5:30 this afternoon. Can't wait to get all the vital stats on her . . .hehehe
