L'Oreal's Your Dog Is Worth It Too Day 4 Attachment(s) This was our first year attending, and we had a great time! Our pictures don't do the event justice. We were so distracted trying to take in everything. I think next year we may participate in the costume contest and yorkie races. This year we left right as the yorkie races were starting to attend a Woofstock Festival closer to our house. 1. Lots of people, doggies, and tents 2. Rory wanted to walk most of the time, but she even eventually decided to ride for a bit with the cooling mat in the stroller. 3. Watching us unload all their goodies into the car 4. The Woofstock Festival (completely separate from L'Oreal event) was held in a park that had a dog park, so we stopped in for a little playtime before we headed home. Apparently, two events and a few hours in the car still aren't enough to wear out my little Energizer Bunnies. You can check out all the pictures here: Welcome to Facebook |
What a fun day! Sometimes instead of wearing them out...I think they can get more wound up! All that stimulation! Woofstock- love it! |
You absolutely need to enter the girls in the costume contest next year! They have so many wonderful outfits. :) I have a question about your cooling mat, do you find it really stays cool. And if so, where did you get it because the one I've tried just got so warm feeling so quick that I don't think it did any good. |

It stays cool to the touch, but not cold. Honestly, I'm not sure how much the dogs notice it, but I feel better about having it in their stroller just in case it makes a big difference. The only downside (and I don't know if I just have a defective mat or if this is normal) is that mine will totally deflate into just just the crunchy powdery stuff, and I have to soak it in water to get it to re-inflate again. The original directions said to add something like a cup of water every week to keep it in good condition, but that is nowhere near enough for ours. |
Oh my gosh! That looks like such a FUN event! Do they have those everywhere? Or just Philly? |
