Rory's Little Birthday Party

In years past, we have done big parties to celebrate Rory's birthday. We relocated at the beginning of this year and haven't had the chance to meet many people (or doggies), so this year we had to stick to a little family party at home. I think Rory still had fun though. Our monthly meetup also fell on the weekend after Rory's birthday, so we were able to bring in some cupcakes and pupcakes to help celebrate too.

Here are some pictures from her party at home:

1. A view of the living room
2. Party Animals - Rory in the party hat, and Lane showing off her underbite, so she looks like she is smiling.
3. Some of Rory's presents. Most of her big gifts/clothes didn't arrive in time to celebrate, but I don't feel too bad since she seems to love the toys the most.
4. Washing down her earlier pupcake with a flossie. :)

My cake did not turn out the best in terms of looks, but the cake topper is too cute not to show off. The girls really liked the cake, so I guess that is what matters!

1. Give us some cake already!
2. Trying to wait patiently for their daddy to set down that cake!
3. Begging for seconds (maybe thirds at this point)?
4. Rory's twin? Her custom made cake topper.

Oh my gosh I have laughed so hard after seeing this. I make a big deal out of Rosie's birthday. I made my son come in here and look at the pictures and he said great there are two crazy people in this world. :D I love it!! What a beautiful cake and adorable babies! I know that they had a wonderful day. :)

Thanks everyone! I think Rory had a good time even though her party was downsized from years past.

Yay! The more of "us" the better I say. ;) You can tell your son the better Rosie's parties are the better his will have to be. :D If he thinks this is bad, her first party was Alice in Wonderland themed tea party and her second birthday was Doggywood (Hollywood) complete with a red carpet, so this one was nothing in comparison. :p It's kind of sick I've felt guilty about her lack of a party this year. :rolleyes:

Looks like a great party. Your girls are gorgeous. I am glad I am not the only one who has parties for my babies.
