Putting shoes on Eddie is, let me put it in Texas terms, like roping a calf. And I'm no cowboy.

I do put on little booties once the snow flies and he's out for longer than a couple minutes. As for a little frost? Ha, he's an AlaskaYorkie!

You may not be a cowboy or able to rope a calf....but I BET Eddie could ...The way he flies thru the air - he'd wear them down till they stood still from exhaustion :D

lol. You're probably right!

Just don't spread those stories around Texas. Those cowboys will want to try roping HIM. They'd have to be small cowboys, though, on Shetland ponies.

I know we have good 'ropers' in Texas but I bet even THEY aren't that ambitious :D

That is so cool! He looks so happy. I am way down here in GA and it has just started to get cold here and windy. Tonight is suppose to get down to 38 degrees F. First cold of the year. I have also noticed the wooley bears (caterpillars) trying to cross over the roads in the last few weeks. Old timers here say the more "wooley bears" you see the colder the winter. And they are usually right. Best of luck this winter.

Love that first picture. The lighting is great, he almost looks like he was photoshopped into the background. Brr, looking at that frost gives me the shivers!

Wow, dude you always post such neat pictures! You guys sure got a frost! I think Sully loved the frost last year....how it crunched under his paws.

We got our 1st chill here in Charleston....with temps all the way down in the mid 50s. I think it's like 61 now....brr! it's COLD here! I put on my fleece pullover and Sully has his sweater on!

Are we big wusses, or what?!!!

Does the cousin own YORKIES?? You're at least the six person on here with Alaska connections, but real, live Yorkies are scarce. (Good job on 'Anchorage'!)

And thanks for the compliments. Fasteddie, you're right, the light is kind of eerie. I think it's just the frost. It's so unusual. Not rain, not quite snow.

Val, we were posting at the same time, so I didn't get to tease you: 50 or 60? You oughta be ashamed. Eddie swims in that warm weather.

Eddie looks great in those pics, did he slide across the grass? hehe Simon used to do that all the time! Then when it snowed he would act like a little snowplow and push it around with his nose! I miss AK ;(

Simonand... uh, Kimberly, you took the snow with you! Bring it back. And bring Simon and Hallie with you so Eddie has someone to play with.

He\'s not a slider. When the snow comes, he\'s a diver.
