Decided to groom at home. 2 Attachment(s) It went really well. I used scissors all over b/c the razor sounds scares her. Here is a before and after pic. I think i did pretty well considering it was my first time doing this. I have a groomer that never listened to me and i saved myself $35. I'm happy with the results. =] Here is the before picture and the afters are in the attached files below. http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/8830/006aaa.jpg |
ahhhh...she looks so cute! Great job! |
I'm a newbie who's just on here doing pre-purchase research, but can tell you that there was a groomer in Pasadena CA that was shut down because there was some sort of contagious disease dogs were catching there. This was about 4 years ago and was in the paper. Then lots of dog grooming classes became popular because people got scared. You could see if there is a grooming class in your area and learn the tricks of the trade, though what you did looks fine to me. Happy holiday. |
You did an amazing job with only useing scissors. I find when they are cut down short like that, it's so much cuter when the hair around the face is shorter. I'll attach a picture of my Azrael with the same hair cut but shorter face hair. Just leave enough on top to put a bow in. When the body is cut really short and the face is left long it seems a little off balance, but you know, that's just me and I don't want to seem unkind. I think you did do such a wonderful job! ;) |
2 Attachment(s) Forgot to attach. It's what I get when hubby calls and I try to talk and write at the same time. |
