Bella is so adorable! Welcome and have fun YorkieTalkin' with us! |
Hi~I'm new too. Just got my yorkie 2 weeks ago. Her name is Zoe but I thought of calling her Bella too. She looks just like yours. My Zoe is 2 lbs. 2 oz. and is 9 weeks old. Hard to believe I thought she was too tiny to take home. Now that I've seen pictures of yorkies I think she might be a little chubby although she just eats 1/2 cup dry puppy food daily. I wanted to put bows in her hair and take her on all my errands. BUT she doesn't like to be in cars and doesn't like bows either. But I love her anyway. |
She is a doll... :welcome4: |

Welcome to YT. Bella is a little cutie pie. |
Welcome Bella and Sue! Bella is such a cutie. Quote:
Welcome Zoe and mommy too! Don't worry about the bows. You have to teach them to tolerate them. :) I hope this doesn't sound harsh, but Zoe is to young to be traveling outside. Please keep her inside until two weeks after he last set of shots to insure full immunity. I would hate for you to have to go through an illness with Zoe. |
Isabella is adorable!! I love her name! :D |
Emma~ Today is Zoe's second set of puppy shots. Didn't know I should keep her in. The breeder said she was ready when she was 7 weeks old and told me I should start taking her everywhere I go to socialize her. We were on vacation and I wanted to wait till we got home thinking the 4 hr trip would be too hard for a puppy but she said people travel further than that to pick up their puppies. I hope it didn't harm Zoe in any way although she looks healthy, happy and 'very spunky'!! Her vet appt is in an hour. Thanks for your input. I don't feel you were harsh. As a new yorkie mom I need all the help I can get!! :-) |
Welcome. Belle is adorable. |

Oh, and my name isn't Emma. Emma is this little chihuahua pup that was given up because she had a cleft pallet, of the soft and hard pallets. One of the members nursed her back to health from when she was 3 days old, if I remember right. She's now over a year old. She's a true survivor. That's part of my siggy because I wanted to show our member my support for her efforts with that tiny chi baby. |
welcome to YT :D Bella is a cutie |
Oops! Sorry! Thought it was Emma. I'm new to this board and can only answer messages. Can't seem to be able to post new questions. Anyway, Zoe had her second set of shots. You were right, her vet said she shouldn't be out in public till at least 12 weeks old. Makes me upset that the breeder gave me false info. Zoe cried for a few hours after her shot and threw up once but today she was her chipper little self again. Now if I can only figure out how to be the alpha dog. :-) |
Hi Sue, welcome to YT. Bella is gorgeous! :) |
