On May 1st, we went to a kite festival and to an event for our local humane society called Paws in the Park. I didn't get many photos, but here are a few you might like.

1-Kandi in pigtails
2-It's windy, Mom!
3-This wind is going to blow me away!
4-DANG!! That's a BIG dog! I'm outa here!!

Thank you! I think her pigtails are cute too, especially with her droopy ears. :) I need to figure out where/how to order sets of matching bows for her. All I had that day was some curly ribbon so I made my own.

Oh gosh, there's no lack of places to buy cute dog bows! :) I've bought some from 3/8" Single Looped Dog Bows : - The Diva-Dog Bowtique and Val's Diva Do's Home Page. The Diva Dog Bowtique has really great quality bows but her orders take a little longer to receive. The second one is Val's Diva Do's and she processes her orders very quickly, has great prices and a huge selection but the bows aren't the same quality as the Bowtique. Still a great product though and I was able to afford a lot more variety from her so I was more than satisfied.

And Kandi is sooooo cute!!!

Looks like Kandi and Gizmo had a great fun filled day. I love Kandi's pigtails too. I have ordered bows from YT member BowBizDogBows. She always has good sales and give yt members a discount. She has adorable matching small bows which are just the right size for pigtails.

Hi Judy! I'm so glad your babies had such a great time. The pictures are adorable. I love the pigtails! I didn't know our humane society had an event. I haven't had time to keep up with the news here. Maybe next time. The Boopster really needs to be around other people and their pets.

Paws in the Park is an annual event and lots of fun. :) People walk dogs at Cameron Park all of the time and by the suspension bridge. All of this is on-leash of course. The concerts in the park are dog-friendly also as well as any of the Walks such as Race for a Cure, etc...

Also, think about going to Van Allstyne for Ollie's birthday party this summer. Look up the thread Twalla started called "Save the Date" in the Southwest region section of YT.:thumbup:

I really wish we had an actual dog park, but oh well.
