Like most I was shocked of the cost. Other then that shes precious. Thankfully it's summer and the shorter cut may be helpful for you to be able to keep up with so matting isn't an issue next time around. You may very well get a good 12 weeks worth of growth out of that cut and prefer going 12 weeks in-between for the cost your spending. VS going every 6 weeks for just a trim. And paying the same cost. It may prove to be cost effective to get the shorter cut and grow it for several months in-between with you giving baths as needed at home. I think the key with the new puppies is a good brush and gental shampoo. The more you brush your little baby the less stressed she will be come grooming time. I had a huskey as a child and I remember the first and only time my mom took her to the groomers she came back looking like a very crazy lion cut. My mother was shocked when they brought the dog out she was sure they had labeled the dogs wrong. But I promise it grows back quickly. Next time you take her to the groomer be prepared with photos and a face to face chat with what you expect, that way it won't be a surprise come pick up time. Sara |
What a beauty. I cut my baby the same way but left the legs long. I like her better furry but I keep cloths on them so she kept getting matted under so this will be a temporary fix. :) |
