Brag Day Everybody!!! I thought it would be fun to post our favorite thing that our Yorkie(s) do. Or maybe the smartest, cutest, funniest? Sometimes, it's just fun to brag, brag, and brag some more! :D I hope you all find a smile being put on your face thinking of all the special things your Yorkie does that warms your heart. Id have to say my favorite characteristics about Schatzie would be the way she always has to have a toy in her mouth while playing with another toy. She will hold this stuffed animal while pouncing or prancing in a tip toe manner rolling a ball. It's just adorable!! Also I love her sweet nature and happy spirit, she doesn't ever seem to have an "attitude" or get snotty and pouty. And last but not least I love the way she snuggles at night sharing my pillow. :p |
playing around nala likes to play with her pupcorn before she eats it. she will throw it all over the room and pounce on it. she even paws at it like it's going to get her :D one day she threw it through the baby gate and my other dog cracker snatched it up before she knew what happened. she looked at me like "well aren't you going to do something" i laughed so hard, then i gave her another one. i think she learned her lesson about getting to close to the gate with her treats. |
Oh what a fun post :) My favorite thing that Sandy does is when she burrows under the blankets to take a nap. I never knew a dog who could NOT sleep unless she is covered up until now. She's also very tuned into my feelings -she knows when I am in pain or sad. So far one of the cutest thing Tia does is "herding" her toys. I'll put the toys out in the living room and one by one she'll carry them ALL into the office. Also, at night she barks at the "other" dog staring back at her through the sliding glass door - reflections are fun! Schatzie and Nala sound SO cute :) I love their little quirks ;) |
schatzie and amiee your babies sound adorable. isn't it funny how somedays they make you want to scream (well in the puppy stages) then they "act" so cute you can't help but laugh. maybe one day nala will understand what "NO" means but in the mean time i still love her!!! |
The puppy stage really does have it's challanges! haha! All I have to do is look at the empty wee wee pad to know that. But we'll get through it - it's the cute things that make it all worth while! :) |
I think my favorite thing Tinker does is at bed time she has to sleep right up against my stomack underneath the covers. I may not get a lot of sleep sometimes, because I can't roll over but she looks so comfortable and sweet I don't want to wake her. The absolute funniest thing she does is burp after she eats. It's not a little one it is loud. Who knew something so little can burp like that. I also love when I come home and open the bathroom door and she sprints out. We have a little routine: I sit on the floor and she runs around me about a gazillion times with her little body wiggling sooo much and snorting. I could go on and on and on about all the things I love about my angel but I'll leave it at that. =) |
Very cute stuff. Stewie puts this big rope toy in his mouth and shakes his head. The thing is wayyyy too big for him and weeights him down when he has it in his mouth. Also, last night he went #2 on the pee pad for the first time. THAT was pretty cute! |

Boy, everyone knows about the puppy stages!!! It's a good thing they are so darn cute and that we have these great stories! Well, when Hercules looks at me, I just want to melt! But I love how when I first get home or get up in the morning, in the middle of his craziness and being excited, he'll sit on my lap and let me give him a good rubbing/scratching all over. I can tell it feels good to him. My other favorite moments with him are when he falls asleep on my lap. After he's sleeping, I'll scoop him up and hold him like a baby in my arms. That's when I usually do the "grooming" on his face. And of course I rub him plenty too! Great thread idea schatzie! |
mt favorite thing that toby does is when he hides his greenies and he shovels the imaginary dirt back over on top of it......... he always makes me laugh.... also he likes to cuddle with me (not with everyone....... not even with my fiance that much.... he just seems to cuddle with me, makes me feel special :p ) and i love it....... |
OK ... it's hard to single out one specific thing ... but, here goes! First of all, I have insomnia and most days I am awake by 2:30 AM and when I wake up ... I'm up!! :( I get up quietly so as not to wake Patrick & Toto. After Patrick's alarm goes off [he always turns it off & dozes] I go in to make sure he's awake ... I can see this little shadowy figure standing on his chest staring at his face!! It's just toooo funny ... Toto just stands there and stares and if he doesn't open his eyes she begins licking his eyelids!! Some mornings he pretends to still be asleep and she will finally give up on the licking and just curl up on his chest with her chin on her paws and continue to stare until he opens one eye!! ;) When she sees that eye open she gets so excited!! |
Aren't all of our babies soooo precious.!!!! I am sooo loving hearing all those stories!!!Everything they do is the cutest and the funniest, RIGHT??? Well, the one thing I absolutely love is when we go to bed and he tries to get all comfy and he makes his little sighing sound!!! Its almost like he gets annoyed with himself. But then he realizes that he is the most comfy when he cuddles around my neck or when he lays on his back with the covers up on him. And yes we shre a pillow also!!! Then he zonks out and all of a sudden he starts snoring. Its sooo cute. Another thing that I think is hysterical is when he's been sleeping awhile and he starts to have his puppy dreams. His legs start kicking and he makes these cute little nioses like he's chasing somehting or being chased!!!!! Soooooo funny!!! Also I think he might sleep bark!!! Like when we sleep walk. Last night Luigi jumped right up from a deep sleep and barked a few times at the wall then plopped right back down and started snoring again!!! He is sooo silly!!! Do puppies do that? Do they "Sleep Walk?" :D :D :D |
My puppy gets so excited when you let him out of his pen that he stands up falls backward and gets the hiccups. I haven't had him long enough to see all the cute things he will do but sure was fun reading all of yours!!! |

Every minute is joyful... Okay, Last night Petie was speeding around the living room like I don't know what, his ears back and all. Finally when I was done becoming a member ( I was registering at the time) I chased him down and picked him up and His weewee was wet and I thought darnit!! so I look around and you know the lil' devil went all by himself on the wee wee pad!! Later he poo pooed on the floor but he is really trying. We got him a little bed for when he gets older and have been putting him in it during up time repeating over & over "Good Boy" and he got in it all by himself after pooping on the carpet and curled up and just grinned.... :smile: We are all crazy about him he is hilarious.... _______________________________________ :love: Kelly |
