Eddie's making his comeback 3 Attachment(s) I'm starting to give Eddie a little more freedom on our daily walks. He's four months into his recovery from CCL surgery, and both he and Jillie THINK he's all better. I'm letting him run but not letting them wrestle. I have to admit, it's nice to see him back in action. ;) The last shot cracks me up. If any of the other dogs were standing where Jillie is standing, they'd punch through the snow up to their chests. Jillie's so light, she walks right over it -- and she uses it to her advantage to look Rusty in the eyes. |
Yay, I am so happy that Eddie is back in the game and that Jillie is getting him back in the groove. Thanks for the pics! :) |
It is so good to hear that Eddie is recovering so well. Go Eddie Go! |

He's got soooooo much energy right now. All of them do. Spring is slowly arriving and the temperatures have ballooned to the 40s. They want to go, go, go. To top if off, Kelly has been in Vegas all week, so they're spending more alone time than they're used to. |
Go Eddie, Go Eddie!! :) |

Fantastic pictures! Eddie looks like he hasn't missed a beat. I love your action shots. How do you keep the little ones from not wrestling? I need to know that trick. |

Thanks everybody! And ritzydaisy, that style of fleece booties is pretty common up here, where sled dogs rule the roost. I've found one woman who makes the commercially in tiny sizes. She has a Web site: Page 1. If you sew, all they are are fleece sacks. Her secret is she uses a stretchy elastic at the top to attach the Velcro. It allows you to get them just a little snugger than a cloth Velcro strap. They don't last forever, and they're more for snow than wet or mud, when they tend to get soggy. But I think she sells them for $12 for 5 of them. |
Eddie has a very intense look on his face in both photos! He takes his play time very seriously. |
