Halle & Toby's Little Boy (Oscar) is Growing Up!
 

Time just flys by, doesn't it?!? Would you believe that this Friday, February 19, Halle & Toby's little singleton will be 6 months old already. The 6 month mark is a milestone in his life in my book, so I thought it warranted a request to his forever family for some updated pictures. I was so excited to find these pictures in my email today!

They kept the name Oscar and they assure me that he adjusted easily into his new home. He is "king of the household" I am told; as his wish is their command, and he is loved by everyone in his new family. They tell me that he is eating well and that the early potty pad training I gave him paid off; he does great at using them when it is to cold to go potty outside. He is described as having a lot of courage & confidence for such a small dog, typical for the yorkie breed, but also maybe just a little sign that I gave him a good start in life. It does my heart good to know that he is doing so well and that I found him a family that seems to love him just as much as I do!

Here is that beautiful little boy many of you know & still love..............Oscar - 6 months old!

It looks like they trim the hair on his face, but imagine it longer..........do you see Halle? I sure do!:)
Attachment 308552 The green glow in his eyes (in the pictures above) tell me his coat will likely be silky like Halle's is, but maybe, just maybe....it will stay dark like Toby's. I know how a yorkie's coat color can change through the first year or two, so time will tell. It also seems to look a little thicker like his daddy's is.

Oh Oscar is turning out to be such a handsome little guy...as if we didn't expect anything less...:p I'm sure it makes you feel good that they would give you an update & pics...he looks very happy! Halle & Toby done good! :D (Oh, and you too ;) )

aww my lil Oscar baby! Rose thanks for sharing him. I so enjoyed watching him grow up! Yes I see Halle but I see Toby too....He is beautiful! And he looks as though he still has a wonderful personality. Thats thanks to your nuturing. You did a great job on that lil guy.

Rose, he has grown up so much!!!! I can still remember his first growl at me!!! I guess thats what I get for disturbing his nap!!! LOL!!!! What a good looking boy!!!!!!

It is so good to see recent pictures of that precious Oscar!! It sounds like he is being treated like the prince he is. :) I am so happy for you and his new family that it all worked out so well!!

.........I just found an added email from Oscar's family. In thanking his new family for sending me the pictures, I had asked about how much he had grown. They tell me that at 6 months he is about 4 1/2 pounds. Looks like he might be staying on the smaller side, like his daddy.:)

Aww, what a handsome boy he has grown to be!! He has such a cute face!!

It's always great when you get updates and pictures of your pups in their new homes, nothing beats that.

Maybe it is just my eyes but it looks like his hair on his body is already breaking color. Either way he is adorable!!
