Problem 2 Attachment(s) That chair is nowhere near the wall as it looks. |
Ruh, roh. There is a habit you want to break. Very cute though! Is that a philodendron plant on the table? I just want to caution you that they are dangerously toxic for Yorkies. I had to move mine, along with an ivy topiary, to a room Maximo doesn't have access. |
Thank you! I have no idea what the plant is, I've been wondering about it. Either way it's out of reach now. I have to disallow this cat-perching :( I just don't want to inadvertently fuel any fires, because...the rebel in him...it's one thing to obey me and another entirely to be deprived of a good way to get the cat. There some chewtoys I tell him are hers, so he has something to steal, he likes that... |
Bandit does something similar, he'll hop up on the back of the couch when we come home (if he's out of his crate) and to bark and greet us. He'll go down when we say down, but we don't know how to get him to not do it in the first place either. I know they have some kind of static mats for furniture so animals don't get on it when you're not home, but I don't know if I'd feel comfortable doing that. |
4 Attachment(s) I have the same problem :( and now he has taught my maltese to do the same thing and she is a bit dingy :( |
Secret I know a secret for this . I use a couple of those clear plastic mats for your feet in your car. If you turn them upsidedown and lay them on your furniture the pokey side is up. It's not very comfy on the feet, problem solved.;) |

Depends on how bull headed they are. Sometimes they really want that spot and it takes a few times. |

dwerten, your last photo makes me think of maybe also placing a bean bag chair or multiple cushions on the fall side of my current problem armchair. |
1 Attachment(s) What a cutie. Jackson is like a cat, he loves to lay on top of couches, furniture, anything. He's a climber. |
