Tale of Two Cities: Yorkie Edition
 

The family decided to go on a road trip right after Christmas and we took Dino along with us. We went to Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA! Dino had an absolute blast, he behaved very well on the car ride over there even though it was almost 10 hours.

During our time at Charleston we did a tour in the morning in which the tour driver absolutely fell in love with Dino. During the tour Dino stayed quiet on his seat and was looking out the window. It was so cute the driver said he was the most attentive listener on the bus LOL! Later on we all took a stroll through the markets and ended up at outlet mall. Dino had a blast walking around and meeting new people and other doggies.

In Savannah we also did a tour, but Dino seemed tired and slept most of the ride. We later took a Riverboat ride with him! It was really cold though and he started shivering even though he had a sweater on. We all took turns putting him in our coats. He walked all of riverfront and in a store I finally bought my Yorkie Kissing salt and pepper shaker!!! I have been eying it for such a long time but never really ordered it. I got it on sale for $6.99! My pepper shaker broke just before the trip so it worked out perfectly. Later on we went to Saint John's Cathedral which is absolutely beautiful. We even snuck Dino in ;)
Late that night we went on a ghost tour and took him along. We walked through an abandoned cementary and it was very freaky because Dino just kept barking non stop at this tree.

We all had a blast but I think this trip has worn Dino out, he has been sleeping all day.

Omg, sooo cute. GREAT shots. I've been to both places and LOVE them!!! I have family in Hilton Head and I just love it there. They took me to Savannah and Charleston before. We went to Fort Sumnter too, that was fun. I'd love to bring Jackson next time.

You should! I have found that Savannah and Charleston were very pet friendly cities. I would take him into lots of shops and the owners would kindly greet him. Everyone we encountered loved him :)

That's so awesome that you were able to take him everywhere with you! I find that where I live, they aren't very pet friendly yet :)
