I've been playing around with a technique called "panning," where you move the camera at the same speed as the action. Done right, it blurs the background and keeps your subject in focus. I don't quite have it down yet, but these are kinda fun. I don't know where he got those buck teeth in the last shot. :D

Super Eddie even has cute teeth ;) That last picture made me laugh out loud and on a Monday that is a good thing ;)

:eek: Great shots .... but .... I have Vertigo & almost fell off my chair!! :) Those type shots have always fascinated me! Good job!! ;)

OMG Bettye! I'm sooo glad you said that! When I clicked on one of those great photos, it made me motion sick and I thought I was crazy!!!!! Well, I AM a little crazy, but you know what I mean! :D

I KNEW it! I posted so many pictures of Eddie that I've made everyone sick of them!

That is a weird optical illusion, though. Maybe I should stick to posting in-focus ones!

My strategy as a Yorkie owner backfired. I decided I'd tire him out with daily runs, but he's gotten into great shape and wants MORE daily runs. Here he is playing in the leaves with his girlfriend Sophia. He's not allowed to have sticks!

The pix are great - especially the first ones - those TEETH! They look kinda like killer bunny teeth - made me laugh out loud! Your baby is sooo adorable. Rowdy carries sticks around too - all the time! He'll bring 'em in the house, if he can get by me. :mad:

Wow, Mike, great shots. By the way the last pic with the teeths is hilarious. I never heard of "Panning" before, so cool. What camera you use? I need a good digital cam, my sucks. I just dont want to spend too much, I know im a cheapo, :rolleyes: .

Thanks you guys. I have a Canon Digital Rebel, Marie. It's probably too much camera for you unless you're really into it. It's heavy and clunky and does more things than most people need. There are a lot of good cheaper digital cameras out there, but you must have a pretty good one. I LOVE your pictures. They are always in focus, always framed nicely. And I've been meaning to tell you: I love your new avatar.

The digital cam I have sucks, is a Radioshack Flatfoto. I paid $60 and it doesnt have zooming or any other feature. I bought it just to take pics of Gucci to share on YT. Wow, I need a life and a therapist,lol. Thank you regarding the avatar. I did it using PSP and Animation Pro.

Your pictures are proof that you don't need a $1,000 camera to get good pictures. You get the most out of that little camera.

But, yeah, it does suck! You could probably get a great camera in the $300-$400 range and your pictures would improve dramatically.

Meanwhile, keep posting pictures. You have a great eye.
