Jackson thinks he's a cat, plus Walkathon pics 4 Attachment(s) Jackson seems to think he's a cat. His absolute favorite place to lay... on the top of the couch. He leaps right on up there and makes himself comfy. He can also do a balancing act walking across it, and even likes to lounge and sunbathe in the front window. I think in a past life, he was a cat. Rather than making 2 threads, I also added some pictures of Jackson & some friends at our 2nd annual Walkathon for my little brother's foundation, CONNOR CARES FOUNDATION; In Honor of Connor. It went fairly well, we had approx. 100 people there (& it seemed like 15 dogs or so!) and we had hoped for a bit more but it went nicely. :D Jackson made friends with my aunt's Pit, Max, and her Siberian Husky, Kendall as well as my mom's friends Puggle, Brutus. |
love the second pic. :) :animal36 :aimeeyork |
:D Very Cute!! Peanut acts like a cat too!! |
What a handsome young man he is! Love him in the red bandanna. |
Haha! The back of the couch was Alex's spot, too, when he was younger. He thought he was such big stuff when he got up there - I always called him my Lion King, or the King of the Mountain lol. That 1st pic of Jackson sure brings back memories. I'm glad you had a good turnout at your walkathon! |
What a handsome cat you have.... |
Seeing Jackson on the back of the couch reminded me of my Chipper. He spent almost all of his 13 years on the back of our couch. We live on a hill and the couch was in front of several windows so he was above the road and the houses across the street. Chip spent his whole life checking out the neighborhood. He loved barking at bikes, walkers, horses, mailman and his favorite UPS truck. When he got too old to get himself on the back of the couch I woud set him up there and Chip would quietly watch the world go by. I sure do miss him. Now Piper doesn't even jump on and off furniture but she does enjoy looking out the slider and watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks and every night the deer. |
