Plus Two
2 Attachment(s) My boyfriend and I got our 2 Yorkies yesterday morning and we are totally in love with them already!
Our male, Kimosaba, will be turning 2 years old in November. He has taken so quickly to my boyfriend and follows him around diligently. Our female, Sophia, will be 1 year old on Christmas. She has decided that my lap is the most comfortable place to be. Their names were chosen by their previous owners, and we are thinking of just keeping them the same as they seem to respond well to them.
We are so amazed at how well behaved they have been. When we leave them alone in the kitchen, they whine a little bit but stop fairly quickly. Also, we haven't heard a single bark out of them! And we are very fortunate that even though it was their first day here, they both went to the bathroom pretty much only on their puppy pads. (Thanks Ryan!)
They haven't shown much interest in any of the toys we have, but they both absolutely love the the bully sticks we got from Westbrook Dog. (Thanks AMD!)
I just want to say thank you to everyone on the forums. I've spent the past couple of months reading and reading and reading some more. The posts here have been very helpful in preparing me for my Yorkies, and I'm so happy that they've finally come home! |
