I hope I'm not turning into the annoying guy who expects everyone to ooh and ahh over his Yorkie pictures, but I liked these shots of Eddie crawling around in the tall grass today.

Eddie is so freakin' cute! I could never get tired of looking at that face! And of course seeing Alaska ;) ahhhhhh I miss home ;)

He is definately stalkin' something! I've always wanted to ask you how you got the awesome pic on your avatar. I just figured out what it reminds me of...one of those pokemon cards...don't ask, lets just say I spent way too much on them a few years back. My son and his friends were huge collectors.

Thanks, you guys. Eddie and I are blushing again. It was funny, I forgot to sign off when we went to obedience class, and I came back to my original message and no responses. I hit refresh and was delighted to see all your nice comments. I guess I should know better by now. Yorkie owners don't get tired of pictures.

Iheartyorkies, you're right, he does look like a little pokeymon character. When he runs, the hair streams back on his face. It was actually a simple picture to take. Eddie met another Yorkie (Bruce) for the first time, and they were running in circles around me chasing each other. I set the camera on its "sports" setting and snapped away. It was a nice sunny day, so that helped get a faster shutter speed. The secret to action shots is anticipating where the action is going to be. Villette has a great shot of Chanel, and she said the same thing. She knew where the action was going to be because she was squirting the hose in that direction.

Simonandhallie, these are for you, just to give you an Alaska fix. We did one of those glacier cruises in Prince William Sound out of Whittier yesterday and had a blast despite lousy weather. The sign says Happy New Year in Japanese -- at least that's what they told us. We did it as a joke.

I can't believe I missed these earlier! I MISS MISS MISS Alaska so much, there really is nowhere like it! Agh the crisp glacier air ;) haha I used to drive to Valdez about 5-6 times every summer and would ALWAYS stop at the glacier! And the waterfalls!

I'm always amazed at the great photos you get of Eddie. He is a gorgeous yorkie. That's for sure. I love the haircut. I'd so like to cut Kacee short like that. I kept Muffin short most of the time and she loved her hair short. You could tell...but my family has threatened my life if I cut her hair, too! :D I especially like the last photo. That's a really great shot!
