How do I insert a picture
 
Hi, I have updated photos of Niyah but I don't know how to add them in a thread.

Will someone explain how to do this?

When you click to post a reply, scroll down the screen past where you type in your message. There's a button that says Manage Attachments. It will bring up a box that will allow you to browse your computer for the files you want to attach. When you're done selecting them, click upload then close the box. You can only attach 4 pics per post.

Thanks bonbon but when I upload a picture it says only 200 kb is permitted but yet I have seen many post their pictures in a thread and when you click on it, it is a much larger image. So what am I doing wrong?

Below is the link I used to first learn to resize my photos. Now I just use Microsoft Office Picture Manager and I think it's MUCH easier. Do you have it on your computer?

200 kb is a pretty good size picture, even an 8x10 picture can still be under 200 kb if it's saved as a jpeg file. The problem is some cameras take such huge pictures 56 inches wide and more, so the file is too big, and you need to resize them, most cameras come with software that allows you to resize your pictures or you can do this in windows paint or other programs. There are also some free online resizing sites. Resize Images online Remember pixels aren't the same as kilobytes (kb) and kb is related to both size of the picture and how many colors are used.

Thanks...I used PS for it and got it down to size. I took more pictures of her and will post them in my album soon.

Wow that's a beautiful picture and a great size. Just for your information, your picture is 5.4 inches wide, which translates to about 391 pixels, and the over kb is only 25 kb which is well under the limit of 200. Niyah is a beautiful model!

I found one thing that helps with this is using just a regular 60-watt light bulb shined toward them; you can use a desk type lamp to do this, and you don't need the flash. This also stops the eye glare you see in many pictures. Ask any model, lighting is everything! :D
