Eddie performs at Doggie Camp

Thought you guys might get a chuckle out of our presentation today at a youth Imaginarium camp. The kids spend all week studying dogs! What a cool camp.

One of Eddie's obedience instructors invited us for the second year to join in the show. Eddie's tricks kept them smiling.

1. Eddie gives me a high 10 in front of the kids
2. Eddie BLOWS the basketball trick. It was wobbly, so he climbed the steps, refused to shoot, and did the Leap of Death off the top. He did that twice before finally making the shot.
3. Eddie does the sneeze trick and brings me a tissue.
4. My obedience instructor gave me this shirt for father's day, but I don't know what I was thinking wearing it and brown pants. Picture doesn't show it well, but I looked like the UPS guy. :rolleyes:

MIKE!!!! I know this has absolutely NOTHING to do with this post but,,,,,WHEN DID YOU GET JILLIAN!!!??? O....M....G....! She is ADORABLE!!! The threads on here get pushed out so fast that I never saw the one when you got her!! I am SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! I LOVE ALL your videos of Eddie...I can't even get my girls to come and look at what you got Eddie doing!! He is great!

LOL, Eddie says HEY, NO HIJACKING MY THREAD! That little spoiled brat has been getting ALL the attention!

Eddie is very impressive! Mayzie is a fast learner--Mo, not so much. I need to find some new tricks for Mayzie to learn. I haven't tried much but what I have she learned quick.

Sorry Eddie!! LOL!! I just read other 2 threads...I am sooo happy for you and Kelly. Oh! and of course for Eddie and Rusty too!! Makes me want to get another!!

Ok...now ON topic....You do an amazing job with Eddie!! My girls attention span isn't very long...I don't know if I could get them to do something like this...As always Mike I enjoy ALL your threads and videos...they really do make my day!

LOL, I've been practicing for the YT show. He did his act for the assisted-living home guests during his therapy visit Sunday. I wrote a script, thought I had a half-hour performance -- and it was over in 10 minutes! :eek:

I padded it a bit, but the kids show was only about 15. I don't know what I'll do for an hour in Alexandria. I think we're going to need some serious audience participation! :rolleyes:

OMG Mike I was thinking the same thing too..what in the world am I going to talk about for 60 minutes? I'm lucky we'll do 15-20.

Oh geez..can't a guy have his day of fame instead of sharing it with his dumb ol' sister??? Eddie I'm sure the kids loved you and you had me worried there with the basketball trick and the leap of death..lol..sounds like a circus act!!!

Mike, maybe you can help us do some tricks with our dogs....it will be a kind of instructional demonstration too. If you could talk a bit about agility, that would be of interest to me. I am curious about how you taught Eddie to get through the course.
