Actually-As a hair dresser- I absolutely love using SLEEK Shampoo and the Conditioner by Matrix.. I use it on my hair and I went ahead and used it on LUIGI cuz I forgot to buy puppy shampoo. He needed a bath really bad so i used it. His hair was sooooo soft all week. Never got one tangle in it that week. SO I kept using it!! He smells so great all week. :) :) :) :) :) :) |

Wench75- I do not know too much about many of the store brands, but this I know-as a general rule of thumb, if there are more than 10-12 ingredients on the bottle, and many of them some kind of acid, such as the sulfuric type acids, they tend to dry out the hair. So it may be a little too harsh for our little babies. Always make sure the 1st ingredient is water. Many of the store brands have high levels of those acids, which is why they are a lot cheaper. I would make sure that any shampoo we use on them that it he a moisturizing or a hydrating shampoo. We don't want to dry out there skin. |

Just as a note...dog's ph is different from our human ph...neutral (baby) shampoo's are just fine...but be careful with all the ph balanced hair products, as they are harsh on the dogs skin and in some dogs, even cause allergy. So make sure when using people's shampoo you dilute it really good:D |
