Taffy Meets a "Real" Carrot!
 

She's scheduled for a puppy cut in just 3 days. These are the last of her "shaggy" puppy photos <sigh>

Her favorite treats are mini carrots. We wondered what she would do if we gave her a regular-sized carrot. It was just as amusing as we expected!

These are great! She doesn't seem intimidated by the carrot at all. ;)

She looks like she's having a blast! When Ariel was a puppy, she turned her nose at carrots but she loves them now. Never thought of giving her a full carrot -- I think I'll try it

The carrot is as long as she is!! She's so cute, cute, cute!! Does she really have to have a big-girl cut just yet? :)

Afraid so...

She gets way too hot on her little walks. With our heat and humidity in the danger zone of the heat index, we don't dare not get her a shorted do.

Plus, she's such a wiggle worm that it's hard to keep her still enough to "tolerate" a good brushing and her hair is tending to mat worse now that it's getting longer.

I know it's going to probably be a heart stopper when I first see her new look. I think she'll probably look older and much tinier (although she's 5+ pounds.

It was funny watching her with the big carrot. She never did eat all of it but it got so dirty from her playing with it that it had to be discarded. I've tried several times to get a good shot of her with the mini carrots but I still can't catch her unawares. She looks like a little old man (an old country doctor) that my husband and I used to know when we were children. He always had an unlit stump of a cigar in the corner of his mouth whenever you saw him outside the clinic. She carries that mini carrot just like that old country doctor did and it makes us laugh out loud.

And...

That's when I "lose" the shot because she does not like us laughing at her at all (which in itself is amusing because she does this little breathy huff of a sigh much like a disgruntled teenager) and of course we laugh even harder...LOL

Sorry -I just had to laugh at this line! She sounds like a handful!! But really, as precious as she is she would look adorable bald!! A little haircut will only enhance her cuteness. :)

so cute. I like the one where her tongue is out. I tried giving Genghis a baby carrot and he sniffed it and bumped it with his nose as if to say "why don't you eat the stupid carrot"

how cute... my pups hate carrots..... sure wish they like them!! great pictures!!
