Feels like if I weren't taking photos of my baby, I wouldn't be in the studio at all!

This was Carter's last photos before his neutering tomorrow. :eek:

OMG!! Those are toooo cute!! How big is that bowl really? Is your YOrkie THAT small??? :eek:

The bowl isn't all that small. I use it to photograph 6 month old babies. The babies are kinds squanched up in it -- legs folded tightly while they are sitting.

Carter is 2.6# as of a few weeks ago. I'll get a current weight on him tomorrow.

Mary at Perfect Dog Bows is really awesome to work with! I purchased a collar, leash and matching bow.

I'm going to call her and have her make a small LSU bow for me for football season. She has a section of sports bows but I want something different than what she has pictured in the "make it yourself" section.

I'd highly recommend Mary!

Carter was a hit at Petco tonight with his matching set on!

He wouldn't sit long enough when my daughter put him in place so . . . she took my camera and I put him in place and tried to get him looking in the right direction. It was tougher today than the other times we've photographed him.

Carter is absolutely beautiful!! I even picked up Schatzie and had her look at Carter's pictures and said, "See, Schatzie, this is how YOUR hair is to look, gorgeous just like Carter's is".....I think she was more jealous of the scooter, LOL!

I will be pulling up the "top knot bow" site and check it out. Schatzie has so many now but you can NEVER have too many bows right?

You're too sweet! I'm trying hard to let Carter get to a long coat. We're in the grow-out stage for his bangs and his nose. He's only been to the groomer once at that was the last week of December. The groomer buzzed the top of his nose unfortunately. Since then, I've gotten my own clippers and have been touching him up - the pads of his feet, rectal area, ears and belly. I've been thinking of having someone trim (scissor) his hair about 1" to get rid of some of the original puppy hair.

The food I am switching Carter to this week is supposed to help with promoting a glossy coat and reduce scratching. I've never seen fleas on him so I assume it is due to food allergies. I'm hoping that the increase in protein in his food will help his coat to grow and make it look really healthy.

Mary at Perfect Dog Bows is extremely friendly. I had a great conversation with her on the phone and won't hesistate to continue doing business with her. Her bows are stiffened and are high quality.

When my grandbaby saw Carter's new photos this morning, she was so excited to see him on the radio flyer and horse. She lives in North Carolina and I'm in south Louisiana.

Thanks! I'm kinda partial to both my grandbaby and furbaby -- I think they are sweet and beautiful too.

Just picked Carter up from the vet. My home should return to normal . . . was lonesome today without him.

It took a little persuasion to get Carter to pose. My hubby (who is offshore at work) asked if I had to tape his paws to the steering wheel . . . lol.

You just have to be quick with snapping the shutter closed on your camera when trying those things!

Those are absolutely amazing pictures, I think any dog or Yorkie owner that sees your work would want their Yorkies to have their pix taken by you! :p

Unfortunately, no - San Diego is about 5-6 hours from me :( I'm on the Central Coast, but at least I have the beach!!

Well . . . if we vacation at Yosemite, I'll let you know. That should be lots closer to you. We went to SF in August and I'm ready to go to Yosemite within the next year or two.

Oh, I LOVE Yosemite - I used to go camping there with my parents in their RV. So, so beautiful! I can't wait to go visit with my own family now! I'll bet the your Carter would LOVE it - lots of good places to go walking ;)

We travel for our anniversary every year in October with the exception of the past year when we went in August to SF because I wanted to see Josh Groban in concert at Mountain View.

This October, we'll probably head for the Smoky Mountains or somewhere else up the east coast for fall colors. 2006 may be a good time for California again.
