As you may or may not know, I had surgery to repair two ligaments in my ankle last month. I was in bed for about a week and a half. My faithful buddy Olivia NEVER left the bed, just to eat and potty. Her grandma babysat ;) and whenever it was time for Olivia to go with grandma, she went nuts, that dog did not want to leave my side. She just knew something was wrong and she had to protect her mommy, I think. My mom snapped this pic of us taking a nap all cuddled up together, and it was so adorable that I just had to share. Olivia is the best nurse ever :D

That is a great picture. I hope you are feeling better. My husband had surgery in 92 to remove a pititutary(sp) tumor and was in the bed for a couple of weeks our Shih Tzu was just 3 years old at the time. She stayed in bed with her daddy as long as he did and she still does.

She is beautiful.

I hope you'll be up and walking soon. I had a knee surgery a few weeks ago and Trixie was the same way. While my husband was out and about, Trixie was by my side and just sat there guarding me. They are the best!!!
