Hmm are you sure???? I was just thinkin that she was such a cowgirl at heart that she wanted to come back to Texas!

I think you are both wrong. There are at least two other Nebraskans waiting to have a visit with Yodi (Pam/TrevorForever being one of them) and I think that Yodi is on her way back to Nebraska to celebrate another American holiday.............Omaha style! :) Best thing about Yodi coming back here is MAYBE I'll get to visit with her again while she's here! I know both Pam and Renee personally.

That's right ladies!!!! And yes Rose, I think when Yodi gets back here we should have a mini meet up with Pam you and I and we can show Yodi how fun it is here in Nebraska!!!! She might just wan to stay here:p

Whew! I'm so glad she made it...I've been anxiously watching the tracking then yesterday realized I had totally forgotten where in IL I had sent her...LOL

I know she's bound to be happy to be out of the dark, hot box. Have fun with her; she's a delight!

Waiting for host dad to get home... we have impromtu fashion show. Gwenni was never able to wear her GoFetch Tankini... grew way too fast, so now Yodi's inherited it...

Also, Yodi got to meet the famous Pillsbury.

So for Yodi's first stop we drove 30 min to Effingham, IL. Its home of the Worlds largest cross. We thought we'd actually go visit the cross as we've driven past it 100's of times.

LOVE the Doughboy! I still find it amazing how white you manage to keep him with all of the places you've taken him. I thought being buried in sand would have been enough to scar him for life! LOL. Yodi looks like a giant next to him! :p

Yodi looks like she's having so much fun!

I love the looks of that slide(?) with the red steps(?). Gosh, I haven't been to a kids' playground in so long, I'm not even sure what the pieces are any more!

I do like the colorful looks though even if I'm not sure what it is!

OMG Jenni thank you for explaining that cross....Jodi (LUVMYSISSY) and I passed that cross on our way to the big meetup in Kansas last year and we saw it and could not figure out what the meaning was..it's HUGE..so glad that Yodi got to see it up close and personal.:D

Alrighty, now that the rain has cancelled all the cities 4th of July plans I have time to upload yesterday's pictures.

First, we went to the Lincoln Log Cabin:

Yodi had a great time meeting other animals, and learning about President Lincoln. They just so happened to have a set up of miniature furniture in the front of the building and they allowed us to put Yodi on the display. A guy came from the front desk and even put a Lincoln hat on her!
