Hello and Welcome to YorkieTalk! Not an expert on health advice..... Hope someone else can help you with your question about going to the vet. |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk!!!!! Could be his baby teeth falling out? A vet would be able to tell better. Good Luck!!!!! |
:welcome4: Hi I can't believe I missed your thread, first of all I want to give you a great big welcome to Yorkietalk! Around the age of 6 months many yorkies will lose their baby teeth, they often have a problem losing all of them, and most of us have to get some pulled during a spay or neuter. Some people recommend chewing toys to get them to lose the teeth on their own. This is also a good time to start a tooth brushing routine. They are getting their permanent teeth and since yorkies are prone to tartar, dental care is very important. You can find toothpaste especially made for dogs with a flavor that appeals to them. At first they won't like it, but in time they fight less. Start with short sessions. It's been so long since you posted, I wondered how he's doing now? |
HI and Welcome.. I bet you its just his baby teeth, maybe if you play tug of war with him they will fall out on thier own.. if not see a vet.. My puppy is still loosing teeth :) |
:wavey: Welcome to YT! Dexter might just be losing baby teeth...Twinkle didn't lose her last one until she was about 10months. If you're worried get a vet to check him out just to put your mind at rest:) I hope you enjoy it here! xxx |
Hello and Welcome to YT!:welcome4::D |
You've already gotten great advice on the teeth, so I just wanted to say WELCOME to YT! :D |
Hello and Welcome to YT! :animal-pa:aimeeyork:animal-pa |
I like C.E.T. toothpaste and dental rinse. C.E.T. also has a very small cat toothbrush that I like to use on my small Yorkie mouths. Be sure and get around the gums. I wasn't brushing Rosie's canine teeth well enough around the gums and they weren't doing so good. Luckily, I had a dental done before it was irreversible. Hope you've figured out what is going on with Denzel's teeth. ~Joanne~ |
Welcome!!! |
Just wanted to say......:welcome4: to Yorkietalk!! |
