Well some of you know the story with Ranger http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...artbroken.html and that he's going to be having surgery next week. To make recovery easier, we had a MAJOR haircut :eek:

I took him in this afternoon and got to watch while my little boy was being shaved. But he looks DARLING!!! I just love that little guy, and while I love his luxurious locks, his tiny little body is so cute all short!

Here are some photos- before and after. The before were taken on Wednesday night after his surgery was scheduled. The after were just snapped here real quick, so forgive the lack of original-ness :p

Gosh, I don't know why the pictures look so fuzzy. I guess re-sizing them twice wasn't so good.

Loooooveeeee it Amanda!!! he looks SO SO cute- like such a puppy!!! And i bet he is SOOO soft- Layla once got accidentally shaved and she was sooooo soft! I'm so glad you did the hair cut- it is going to make recovery so much easier for the both of you!

Thanks ladies!! I am really glad I went ahead and did it, it will be so much easier on us. Now that I look back at the before pics, he really did need a little touch-up :rolleyes: he was looking a little unruly.

Oh yes he's SO SOFT. Like satin or something, I just want to squeeze him!! He was such a good boy, too. The groomer was so nice and said she rather people stay and watch so they can get exactly what they want. She said the only time they misbehave with the owner is there is when the owner is DUMB and talks to them the whole time. I tried to ignore him as best as I could. I did walk out when she was doing his nails because he's never very good for that part.

I knew that he'd look cute as a button. He's so beautiful he can sport any type of hairdo.

That boy has ATTITUDE!!! He was pretty mad because I made him hold still when he wanted to run like the wind and play play play! He also wanted to rub all over EVERYTHING to get that icky "clean" smell off... :D

i just loveee it,this is what i wanted for my bailee but the groomer did a terrible terrible job unfortunately...considering she took a chunk out of her nose i guess the hair is the least of my worries:rolleyes: but ranger is precious i really love it

Oh :( I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I bet she looks darling anyway, but oh help the person who cut my babies noses... I would be LIVID!!! I think you should post pics so we can all tell you how adorable Bailee looks! If you want better pics of Ranger, there are a few in my album from his first haircut last year. They are the pictures I took in yesterday to get the same cut. Different groomer and she did a really good job.

I think Ranger is a doll...and I too think it was a wise choice shaving him down before his surgery. Hope and pray all goes well and that he has a speedy recovery...so he can run like the wind!

haha ill try and get some pics,and oh yes im thinking this whole nose thing is gonna get ugly with the groomer but ill start another thread when I kno how its gonna turn out...when is rangers surgery date again?

Thanks, I really think it was the best decision. Plus, when he gets cold he snuggles, so he's been really cuddly :p
