fostering "millie" 4 Attachment(s) i recently decided to foster a kitty from a high kill shelter. im bringing her back to health so she can go to a forever home (im a dirt poor student just trying to help!), and its been very interesting to say the least...with a year old yorkie! i didnt include the picture of her from the shelter cause it makes me sad, but these were after a few days of her being home and finally warming up to me! i love it. ive never had a cat so this is all new to me, but so rewarding! and tyce and her are still getting used to eachother. i think they are slightly cofused..millie is wondering why hes so crazy, and tyce is wondering how she gets on top of the fridge! |
1 Attachment(s) hi mommy, heres some lovin'. |
Aww she looks so sweet. I also have a kitty(Shelby) . My Zepzep gives her a run for her money. Its so funny to watch them.I hope you are able to find your kitty a good home. |
You are doing a great thing! |
Aren't you wonderful! :) Maybe a new household member for you?? ;) |
What a grat thing you are doing!!!! Bless your heart! She looks like she feels at home!!! |
well, i'm only 20 and in school full time, so owning another animal would be terrifying for my finanaces! haha. i'm already worried if anything (god forbid) happens to tyce what i will do to pay for it if its really expensive (i know my parents would always help me if i needed it), but i dont think i could afford to add another pet to the family for their well being. but, the way i see it, once she finds a home i can foster another one and save more lives! (the rescue program pays for all the vet needs if there are any, and transportation, etc) at no cost to me! i will when im older. |
Aww. What a great thing you are doing! My kitty Ash was a kill shelter rescue.:) |
You are doing a wonderful thing...she is a little beauty. My two yorkies give my cat a run for his money....the only time he likes them is when they are asleep....LOL |
