Baby's First Birthday!
 

Hello Yorkie Talkers;

My girl will be turning a year this week and I thought I would share a few images of her all grown up. I wish I could post more but life is very busy. I do drop in and enjoy the posts and pics though!

I know she looks a mess but I cant bring it to myself to have her cut. I am having a hard time finding someone I trust - no one has a portfolio. I would if I were a groomer but I digress.

Here she is, my lil scruff ball! I'll get her cut... swear! I just cant seem to get it down and the thought horrifies me. I have read so many 'bad cut and Im sobbing' threads lol. Im trying so hard to avoid that. :thumbup:

Shes having a party at a pup park on March 8th here in Tampa. North Tampa - I live in a place called Chaval. Its near there for those familiar with the area.

All are invited! (my ol man's gonna kill me lol)

Only one stipulation; no pups over 20 pds! I will not waiver this in any way. Very sorry. No offense. Im simply not going to spend the day worrying. That's my right and I'm simply exercising it.

Strange dogs have NO business playing together when an immense size difference is an issue. I apologize if you feel differently or if you have a huge sweetie pie. Again - no offense - I love all animals but I will NOT spend that day worrying. Many huge sweetie pies have ripped a Yorkie's throat out, just for something to do. lol

I elimate that as a whole by not even allowing it in her world. Over 20 pds, no play. She gets it. :thumbup:

I have rented the area and its pretty much a pup meet up with her Birthday as the theme. It will mimic a child's Birthday very much so you know what to expect.

The guest list now is a bit over 50 with some having multiple little ones. I expect at the very least, 100 plus doggies out there. Again, all under 20 pds. And here I am inviting more! :p

I just want my girl to have a great time and she is so very social. I want her to sniff bums and chase others until she cant even move. :thumbup:

If any Florida folks want to attend - let me know and Ill post more info concerning the event.

aww she is sooooo cute!!! My baby will be turning one on 9th April this year...gonna miss the puppyhood but as it's her first ever birthday she is getting millions of presents! although she'd probably love the wrapping more than the gift... :D lol xxx

I know I am a bit late, but I hope the birthday was wonderful!

It went so well! I did have a problem with a couple of people 'crashing' the party but I really didnt mind... it was HER day. So if she wanted to play with a doggie we didnt know I sure didnt mind.

I let her sniff - turn her nose up at - then walk through the cake barking at it. She is a NUT! :animal36

We only had one 'episode'... a Yorkie nipped a poodle but it wasnt anything serious. I'll certainly do it again next year! :thumbup:
