Finally Livi Loves Isabeau!!!
 

I thought that Livi would NEVER warm up to Izzy, but it has finally happened! :) Livi will even run and play with Isabeau, but does scold her if she thinks that she is getting too rough. Then, big sis is done playing for awhile and hides out on the couch but eventually jump down to play some more. I honestly thought that this would not get better...Livi could NOT stand her in the beginning and it has taken quite some time, but that's okay...I am just thankful that she finally loves her. :D

I took some pictures to prove this to my husband. I love the ones of Isabeau's little leg draped over Liv.

Thank you all so much!! I am so happy to see my fur kids getting along so well. The only one that is not too excited about having to share his home is Harley. He's just a little older (7 years old) and none too fond of Izzy climbing all over him and licking his face. :rolleyes:

Awwwwwwwwww, SO CUTE!!! Wylie was *not* happy when we brought Marcel home either - it took a good while for them to be buds. Now they wrestle and fetch together and play. But they have never cuddled together, darn it!

Cute pics! All your furbabies are adorable. How long did it take for them to warm up to each other? I just brought home a furbaby little boy (Orion) yestreday and his big sister (Cassiopia) is still adjusting. I'm hoping that they get along soon. Keeping fingers crossed.

Well.....:rolleyes: it took Livi longer than I think most take. We have had Izzy since she was 11 weeks old and she is now 21 weeks old. I would say it has been the past three weeks that Livi has decided that Izzy's not too bad. However, Liv will still growl and scold Isabeau when she thinks she is getting too playful. :rolleyes: But Livi is SUPER big-time queen around here and she thinks that everyone should follow directions....so it has taken her awhile to warm up to a puppy that doesn't know what the word 'rule' means let alone, care. :D Huckleberry was extremely scared of Izzy at first and would hunch down in a corner when she would come close...that lasted for about three weeks and now he is fine...unless she gets too rough. He then yelps and runs to me or my husband. Our older guy, Harley, we don't expect him to ever truly like Izzy...he just tolerates having the little guys here..he would prefer to be an only dog.

I bet your fur kids will fall in love with each other quickly...my Livi is just more set in her (strict) ways and having a puppy running around was not in her rule book so she was a bit thrown on how to handle it. This is why I am so excited about the friendship that they have formed now :)

Wow that did take a long time, I guess Livi finally realized that Isabueau was there to stay. They look really cute together and Livi is being a nice big sis.

OMG. I pray that this will happen in my household soon. My kitty Princess is kinda starting to tolerate Charlie, but it would be awesome to see them cuddle!

I'm glad to hear that Livi finally warmed up to Izzy. It sounds like a full time chore to try to get all these furbabies to get along once you introduce a newbie to the family. :rolleyes: Well we're on day 2 today, and it looks like Cassi doesn't know what to do with her new little brother Orion. She goes through different moods - from ignoring him, to sniffing him, then rolling on her back playing submissive, and then she bares her teeth and opens her mouth as if she's going to bite him when he gets too playful around her. All in all, it seems like Cassi is adjusting to her little brother. I hope Livi and Izzy becomes best friends. :)

Oooh, I love those pictures!!! Livi and Isabeau are both beautfiul!! Isn't it great when they play together? Picture three is my favorite, Livi has the most beautiful little face, I love that look she has in that pic, lol.

I'm so happy for you :) Abby has always loved Daisy, but not the other way around. Finally they seem to love each other, so I understand.

Oh those are the greatest pictures, I love the last one in the first set!
It has taken Wrigley and Crosley quite some time to warm up to Camden too!
They still have their moments and I guess they probably always will like real siblings, but they will lay on each other like your two and it's such a great feeling when they do!

Thanks girl! I, of course, think that Livi is quite special, but I am biased. ;) It's that face of hers that keeps her sassy self out of trouble. :D

Beauregard is doing great now...crossing my fingers that he never gets sick like that again! I have read that feeding wet food, along with his dry, will help but he too picky and turns his nose up all wet food. :rolleyes:

You're right, it is like they are siblings! Even my cats behave like this when they are upset...like they are brothers. It is a very good feeling to see them interacting....right now, Livi and Isabeau are running through the house playing (so cute!). But stand back if Izzy gets too rough, Livi is NOT havin' that! ;) :eek: :p
