Luigi's new older brother!!!!! My rescue!!!!

I just wanted to post a pic of my new little darling!!!!! His name is Rosco. And he is 1 yr and 4 monthes!!!! I am adopting him from a rescue!!!!! We had our home visit today, and all went very well!!!!! Luigi is very excited about getting a brother!!!! Well, here is Rosco, still at his foster mommies house with his other foster brother!!!!!!! Still not 100% sure when we will go to pick him up, but it will be soon!!! We have about a 6 hr drive to get him!!!! So I am very excited and I just wanted to share!!!!

Actually, the pom isn't Luigi-- its Rosco's foster brother, but its the only pic I have of Rosco. Luigi and Rosco are both Yorkies!!!! I would love to adopt the pom, but I can't, so He is still up for adoption. I don't have any pics of Luigi and Rosco together yet! But thank you! :)

his lovely so glad his going to a good home,
when you adopt a rescue baby do you get told what happened to them before ? so you can understand there behaviour

I was struggling with that, too. Thanks for clarifying. Rosco is gorgeous, definitely not what I picture when I hear "rescue." He looks like a champion. I'm glad he found a perfect home.

Oh wow is he adorable ! Congratulations and good luck with your new Rosco - I bet his foster family will miss him but YOU are now his new mom and I bet he's very happy with you - he's just darling

Yes , there is a report on rescued dogs because have to understand why the dog behaving this way and not the other .

If I had more room in my home I would foster some dogs as well. I commend you on what you are doing! :) That's wonderful that you foster these poor babies.

I probably missed this but, which one is Roscoe? Again forgive me if you have already gave us this info. Like I said, I missed it.

Thank you everyone!!!!!!!! I should have clarified better!!!!!! Roscoe is the yorkie in the pic!!! My new darling!!! The black pom is named Tokyo, which is Rosco's Foester brother right now. Tokyo is still up for adoption!!!. So the yorki will be Luigi's new brother!!!!! So I will have 2 boy yorki's!!!!!!

The lady who had Rosco is an elderly lady who wanted a compnanion dog who was a good lap dog. So thats why she got a yorkie, she had read they were good for that...but what she didn't realize was that they are puppies at 1st and need to be properly trained. She didn't understand why he was soo full of energy and it was too much for her to handle. So that is why she gave him up. He is a very good boy though, protty trained and loves other dogs. So I thought he would make a great brother for Luigi!!!!!! Rosco is a very laid back boy and so is Luigi, neither are alpha, so his foster thought it would be a great match!!!! I hope soo!!!!!! They have very simialar personalitites!!!!

I am vet excited!!!!! And can't wait to bring him home!!!!!
