Otis has to wear a cone for a few days 'cause he was licking a cut and the vet wasn't happy about it :) He has been snuggling on my lap and being Mr. Mope ! He's lucky that his Mom can spend an hour just holding his Greenie while he chews away his sorrows !!

Poor little guy. I thought my dogs would be wearing those after their recent spay/neuter but the he didnt give them any. They havent licked on their stitches so they didn't need them.

Aww, bless his heart! He's so cute though! We never like it when our babies are hurt but isn't that sweet cuddle time like medicine? *sigh* Thanks for sharing!

Awww poor little guy! Simon was really a Mr. Mopey too when he had surgery! I've attached pics so you can show them to your little guy so he knows others have been through the same thing!

Ahhhh poor little guy. I opted out of the collar in favor of a onesie when Buddha had his surgery. I did leave it on the cat after her spay but it was the most pitiful thing I had ever seen . I had to hand feed her because she is a persian with a flat face and she couldn't reach out beyond the edge of the cone to pick up her food.

I hope he gets to remove his soon. :(

Simon -- you are a cutie with your cone :)....It is sad to see our little 'uns sad BUT it is so good to have them snuggle up and say "Take care of me 'cause yer my mom!"

Awww...Poor little Otis!! I am especially touched because he has the same name as my dog!!! Hope he feels better soon.

Every time I go into an elevator, I am so tempted to swipe those "OTIS" plaques. :cool:

It actually got to the point where I found one that was loose, and I DID swipe it, but by the time I got to the 15th floor, I felt so guilty, I put it back.
