Hi everybody,

I've managed to attach the only 2 pics I have of my baby Pixie... The Breeder calls her Lacie though.

Today I when to check out a Veterinarian around my area to see if I would like to take little Pixie there for her 1st Health Examination... And when I asked if they do the Liver Shunt test when/if requested, they looked at me crazy & said that "they've never heard about LIVER SHUNT" :(

So, there I was trying to explain what the condition known as Liver Shunts is (the best I could) and letting them know that it can KILL little pups if it's not detected on time...

I left that place feeling really dissapointed... :(

The pictures are just toooo cute!! :) Sounds like it's time to keep searching for a vet! It's hard to find a good one but it's probably the most important thing you can do for your baby. Perhaps there's a "teaching" veterinary hospital near you or another way I find good information sometimes is to watch for people who also have very small pets and ask them about vets, etc. in the area. Sometimes you get useful information and sometimes you "draw a blank"! :rolleyes: It's always interesting!

I'll keep on searching around, I still have two weeks, so I will definitely use the chance to "investigate" :)

Awww, I love the name and the pictures are priceless! Yup - keep on looking for a vet, a good vet is so important - mine is wonderful and I'm glad I searched around to find him :)
