Pia, Paisley and Trixie say YIPPIE to their dog potty! 4 Attachment(s) The girls got a new dog potty, haha! :D I just had to share some pictures. We've tried just about everything out there. I started my girls off on regular pee pee pads, then we tried the litter box (didn't like the litter), then I tried the washable pads and a thing that was like the wizdog. For the longest time they used their litter box and a pad inside. All of them have been trained for a long time now. I wasn't having issues but I absolutely HATED them walking on the pee. Since I have three girls I would have to change that pad constantly. Even changing the pad numerous times I would still get stinky paws. :thumbdown I went on a mission the other day to change this. I came across this dog potty and I decided to give it a try. We love it! At first Paisley was scared of it, but now she's fine. Pia jumped right on and went pee pee right away and Trixie followed right after. It has a base and then a tray that goes down in. Then the fake grass (turf) goes on top of the tray. You can put a pad or whatever under the turf to collect the urine. However, the turf is pretty thick and pretty much stays at the bottom (no wet paws). It also traps the odor. I didn't clean it for three days. I could have waited longer but I guess I got paranoid. They sell the fence for only one side, but this wouldn't work for us. I needed a fence to go practically around the entire thing, or I knew Trixie would sometimes miss and pee on my floor. I went to Lowe's and made my only little fence. :D We are very happy with our new potty. :D We bought the petite one and it was the best $130 I've ever spent (that included the shipping). :D That might seem like a lot but I no longer have to buy tons of pads. I might just be the only goofy one excited about a dog potty. |
2 Attachment(s) Snoot sat there the entire time until I was done, haha! He is just too funny. :p Pia is mad I posted a pic of her going potty. Thanks for looking everyone!! :D This is the link to the place. DoggiePotty Indoor dog bathroom. Doggie potty a training solution. |
Yes, I shaved Pia again. I've actually shaved her three times in the past two months. I really goofed this last time. She has no hair on her body. :p |
Haha that's too funny. Abbey would NEVER use that thing. Pia, Paisley, and Trixie say "Cmon Moooom!! How about some privacy?!?" |
So cute! Ok...so....how do you clean it???? Can you get bigger ones? Is it less work than washable pee pads??? Love the pics!!! |

Hey Brenda, yes they do offer a bigger size. I posted the link to the place in my third post. :D I think its pretty easy to clean. The washable pads weren't bad to take care of but I hated them walking on the pee if I wasn't home. The tray lifts out really easy. You just pick it up and leave the turf on when taking it to wherever to clean. I just cleaned it in my tub. I first took the turf off and cleaned the tray. Then I rinsed out the turf with water and cleaning stuff. You have to shake the turf a few times to get rid of the excess water. However, it drys pretty quick. I prefer this because I only have to clean it every few days. Before I was cleaning their box non-stop. Perhaps I'm just anal about things being clean but it drove me nuts. This is definately better for us. :D NO more wet stinky paws!!! :D |
Oh, how neat! Pia is definitely saying, "Do you mind?!"!! LOL! Does Snoot try to use it, too? |
Oops, the link is in the second post. ;) |
