After months and months I finally got Kioko's ears to stand up! I am not sure if they will fall back down because after 3 days of taping I just take the tape up...and hopefully they stay up! If not then after 1 day of resting I will re-tape his ears until they do stay up for good...hehe...I am 1 step closer to getting his ears permanently up! hehe

I knew I could do it just like I did Tootsie...hehe...

I will post a before and after photo...hehe

I am also going to link both my online photo album to his album hehe...

How cute he is for sure. His ears are sure up. Hopefully they will stay up or will be very soon.

aww thank you! if they start falling down i will re-tape them...hehe...i am determined to get them up for good...

he was born Jan. 28 2008 so that makes him almost 6 months...hehe...thank you!

aww thank you...hehe...he is such a teddy bear....he is piebald gene carrier hence the white on his chin and chest...hehe...i am so happy that I finally got his ears up...i hope by the time i get off work his ears aren't down...if so I will have to re-tape them...heheh

He is so cute either way!! It's just so weird that they look like such different dogs with ears up and ears down. He doesn't even look like the same dog.

hehe...he kinda don't huh...i know either way he is still adorable...but i wanted to give it my all before i give up...so i can say at least i tried...hehe

Aw Kioko is really a handsome guy!!! I love the ears up best too, although a Yorkie is cute either way. Congratulations on getting them...I hope they'll stay up for you.

aww thank you...hehe...if they beginning falling today since i took the tape over last night...i am sure to re-tape them...hehe..until i know they are up for good...hehe

He is Adorable ears down, ears halfway up/down, one up/down, both up:p! I am new to Yorkies so what does piebald gene carrier mean? The groomer shaved Bella's & I tried the taping, but I didin't stick to it.:rolleyes: Anyway, Congrats on yr hard work....way to go Kioko:thumbup:

How cute! Glad it worked......I knew someone years ago-that taped the cardbord cylinders from tampons on their doberman's ears to get them to stand up!!!! Hugs-Kay & Jaxon

wow i would have never thought that...hehe...but i have done it with tootsie, I mean taping her ears and all it took was a week to get them up...but having MeiLing being a puppy along with Kioko makes it 10x as hard to keep the tape on...hehe...thank you!

Sometimes it just doesn't work. I tried with my Krissy for over six months shaving them every couple of days and keeping them taped three days at a time.

I figured if I couldn't get them up I would make them look like her hair.

I actually love the cut and unique style on her.

Here she is at 3 years old.

well i spoke too soon the came back down...i guess i have to retape them again...i won't give up...hehe!

yeah i know it may not go up but i won't give up until i know for sure they won't stay...eheh...because i have caught him holding one up before...so i am think proper training of the ears might get it up..hehe..its worth a try...thanks!
