What a lovely thing for your ex to do. Isn't it nice when you can finally get to the point where you can leave all the icky stuff behind and just go on and be civil to each other? I'm glad it's going that way for you!

Yes, it is nice to get past all the ugliness (and Lord knows I had every right to be ugly). Still, it takes a lot of energy to hold onto that level of anger and resentment. And, as a Christian, I know I'm supposed to forgive and move on. As a man it took a little longer to get to that point. It feels good to be here now though.

The fact that we get along so well and she's always calling to tell me something silly our youngest has said or done causes her hubby no end of grief though. He used to go by a whole lot of other names besides hubby that I can't mention here and I haven't quite gotten to the forgiveness level with him though. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I do take a small amount of childish pleasure in any amount of grief I cause him. Yes, I know it's silly and childish but I am still a man after all, Christian or not. I'm sure I'll let it go eventually. I'm just not quite ready yet!

Yes, regardless of what her reasoning might be, my ex is giving me a very precious gift and I'll never quite be able to tell her how much it means to me. Hopefully she still knows me well enough that she'll know.

I went by this morning to see the pups again and they've had their little tails docked and their dew claws removed. The vet said mother and pups are doing extremely well and gaining weight quite nicely. Only 80 more days and Jackson can come home! I think I have the hour countdown around here somewhere...

aww Byron what a wonderful Yorkie outcome! Yorkie Dad's are cool, just ask my hubby, lol! Jackson sure a precious! I do hope your planning on raising him here with the YT family ;) We love to watch pups grow through stories and pics :) I'm sure your gonna stick around YT and share little Jackson w/ us all.....right?!?!?! ;)
