Hi everyone!
I just joined yorkietalk and wanted to say hello. We do not have a yorkie yet, but we are in search of that special baby. I joined to meet other yorkie owners and learn from what others are saying about them. Looks like a great group!

Hey welcome to YT. This site is just the best, you can learn everything about yorkies and in the last month it has REALLY helped me with my little 7month old Bailey. So are u after a girl or a boy?

Nice to 'meet' you! Bailey is adorable, best of luck with her! You must be so happy! I am not sure about male/female yet. I need to find the right breeder first and take it from there. I have spoke with two breeders that I like very much, but they are out of state. It's hard to pick your pup from a picture with out meeting and seeing them in person first.. I really have to give this much more thought... :confused:

Ree.. My puppy Evie (the darker one) is from "picked out" from a picture.. believe me.. it's not hard to fall in love with a picture.. especially since Evie's breeder is a dear freind of mine Missy (yougetthesmiles) a wonderful member of YT..

But of course it does have to be whatever works for you.. but you will see that so many of our wonderful furbabies on here are picked out from pictures their mommies and daddies found on here:)

Evie is adorable!! I am guessing it is a common way to get a puppy for many. I have nothing against it, just a little foreign to me as I have never did it this way before. Question.. are you allowed to ask about litters / puppies on here? There are two cuties I seen earlier I would take in a hot second… ;)

Thank You:) of course you are! this site just doesn't allow people coming on here and asking for free or cheap puppies.. These puppies are not cheap.. and even if you do find a seller who sells them cheaper than the regular price (normally selling for $1200) REMEMER the bills are NEVER cheap! I've had Evie since early Feb. and my vet bills for her have come to a grand... AND she's perfectly healthy.. now imagine if someone sold you a sick puppy... or if your baby gets sick... I don't want to scare you.. Just prepare you :)

I agree, once a Yorkie lover...always a Yorkie lover! Winston and I want to welcome you to YT...hope you find the puppy of your dreams very soon...and when you do please share your experience with us.
