HAHAHA, you are so funny! My mom always says Pia looks like a stick with a head, LOL!! She's been so much more active today. I really believe its because the hair is gone. I swear she seems to be prancing even more than usual. :p I'm happy you like it and I thank you again for posting pics of Juju. You really helped me to finally do this. ;)

Hi, I loved the pics you posted. Paxton is such a cutie. Pia is 3 years old and this was the first time I shaved her. It was hard but I don't regret it at all. The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. Seeing ehr somuch more happy makes me feel great. We go outside a lot and she's usually so miserable after a few mintues of running. I couldn't take it anymore and I know I made the right decision for her. If you decide to shave down, I think you'll like it. :D

Aww,thank you so much for your sweet comment. I totally agree about the weather. I was also concerned with her overall health. Seeing her that hot really made me nervous. She seems much better now. ;)

Hey, I'll post more pics tomorrow. I was meaning to do it today but I was gone for the most part and never got a chance to take any. Trust me, she is definately shaved. :cool: Her beard was to the floor practically and I just cut straight across for it. I took tons off her legs but I did leave some because I was afraid I'd make her look like a chicken, LOL. However, the rest of the hair is gone. I was so iffy at first but I really love it now. I put pjs on her this morning and put a bow in her hair and she looks exactly the same right now. I love that!!! :D She's so nice and soft and looks so clean. I think Feather would look adorable in a shorter cut. :thumbup:


P.S. I think I messaged you this but I could be nuts, LOL!! That pile of hair was only one pile and not all of her hair. So you were right. She had a lot more hair than what I took a pic of. It was just crazy how much she had. :cool:

Hey Tanya :) You are so right about them feeling better. I remember Sophie's long coat and it was beautiful but we can definately relate on how hot it makes them. Pia's been so funny with her new hair. My fiancee thinks she has even more of an attitude now. :cool: :p I do need to get a video. She's been playingso much more and I love when she runs from room to room like a nutcase. :p

OMG Dina...she is so stinking cute. :p I love it. :D You know I always loved her long hair but I know how it is with the heat. That is why my two are always cut short - it is too hot here in Florida for long hair. :(

But, she looks absolutely adorable, and it's the perfect cut for her if she was uncomfortable with her long hair. Aww, thanks so much!! She's like a puppy again and I love it so much. I had such mixed feelings at first and now I'm soooooo happy I did it. Watching her play more and not be so hot makes it all worth it. :D I didn't weigh her before but now I wish I would have. That would have been so funny to see if she lost weight because of hair, LOL!! :p

Aww, thanks so much!! I had no idea what I was doing and I'm just glad I didn't goof up big time. She still has a few spots that need evened out but I'm leaving her alone for now. I'm just so happy she feels better. :D

Hi, thanks so much for the sweet comment. I was so scared to cut her. Like you, I was in love with my baby's coat. ;) However, I knew she was suffering and I couldn't take it anymore. At first I cut the hair up to the bottom of her ribcage but her hair is so thick and she kind of looked like a mushroom to me, LOL!! :cool: Pia's really short and I knew it would be to the floor again so fast. I told my fiancee to grab the clippers so I didn't change my mind and I just went for it. When I first saw the hair coming off I think I went into shock for a second, hahaha. Then after I was done I thought she looked so cute. She seems to prance even more now and has so much more energy. I don't regret it at all!! Maybe you could try a shorter cut first and see how you feel and then go more once your comfortable. Your babies are just adorable, so they will look beautiful nomatter what. Good Luck!! I know its a hard decision to make. ;)
