I don't think that there is anything you can do that Pia will not look good in. She is still a gorgeous baby! I think she looks great and I agree with the weather, just wait until July when it is sooo humid!:) |
I want to see a side view. I knew she wasn't really shaved because that pile of hair would have been muuccchhh bigger. She really doesn't look much different from the front. She would beautiful even if shaved down. I am tempted to cut Feather down too. When she was spayed they shaved down each side of her belly so her hair looks like it's really thin right now. It really does make for a much easier to care for coat. I used to alway shave 2 of mine down (and I mean shave, all over) every summer. I'm thinking of doing it again this year |
Awww I think she looks GREAT. I know how hard it is to do this. I remember when I struggled with the decision to cut Sophie's down. When I saw how happy and more playful she was I knew I had done the right thing. I just cut Sophie's hair yesterday and I went a little shorter than usuall and I have to say she kinda looks like a bobble head dog. LOL:D I am gonna have to do some trimming on her face today to even her out. Now we need some video of little Pia prancing with her new cut. :aimeeyork |

She still looks like the cute princess she is. You did a great job:thumbup:Love the face! |
omg she absolutly looks adorable, i love her haircut :D |
OMG I can't believe it! I was thinking-NOT Pia!!! ;) But, she looks absolutely adorable, and it's the perfect cut for her if she was uncomfortable with her long hair. I am glad you left her head and face longer-that way she still feels like a princess with her pretty ponytails! :) Her little body looks so tiny without her hair-it's so cute! Did you weigh her before and after her haircut? I have done that with Milli when her hair was longer, and she lost just under 1/2 a pound in hair alone! |
I agree with everyone else! She would still be beautiful and an absolute doll with the worst choppy cut ever! But you did an excellent job! Love the hair cut, she will be happy this summer. :animal-pa |
she is still beautiful. :D |
I love her new cut. She looks really happy too. I have been thinking about cutting Hannah and Gracie too. I know that their coats are beautiful but I don't have to carry it around and they love to play outside, but they get really sweaty and messy and hot. I have cut Hannahs before but not very short, but I have never cut Gracies because she has the most beautiful coat I have ever seen. My daughters maltese Bentley had very thick long hair...he would rarely run and play outside and he would just lay and watch the other dogs play so she had him shaved and he was sooooo happy. He would run from one end of the house to the other like crazy when we got home. He was so excited to show everyone who came to our house. And now outside he has fun. I think you made the right decision. She looks beautiful. |
OMG! Dina!!! Well i think she looks even cuter..if that could be possible! what a wonderful mummy you are for putting your babies comfort first;) |
Girl, you know that I think you did an awesome job with Pia's summer 'do! I think she still looks just gorgeous and you did a wonderful job with her! |
LOL....Pixie just told me she wants a 'Pia cut'...guess it's a bit like the 'Rachael cut' (Jennifer Anniston) that was all the craze in the 90's! Pia's a trend setter!:p |
Oh she's still as adorable as ever! It will be so nice for her in the summer months! Thanks for relaying which blade you used, we are trying to decide what length to go with Wrigley! Sweet Pia! |
Guess what I did today? 1 Attachment(s) Quote:
