My hubby was looking at morkies, we both loved yours! We are planning to get a baby sister or brother for our yorkie Miss Daisy, and are curious about the morkies....Do their ears stand up like the yorkie trait (like your baby's) or do some of them have the floppy ears like a maltese? Is there any way you can tell when they are babies? |
Most of the Morkies that I have seen have the floppy ears. Beau's brother had his ears up when he was a puppy and then they became floppy like the Maltese when he was about 6 months old. If the owner would have clipped the hair on his ears though, I think they may have stayed up, but I'm not sure. Beau's ears have always been up. I know there are some Morkie breeders on this board and hopefully they can answer that question. They are great dogs and can have the feisty Yorkie side or the loveable Maltese side.:) |
Om my goodness!!! He is beautiful :) He is one of the cutest little boys I've ever seen ;);) Great pictures. He is soo cute, I'd be hugging and kissing him ALL the time!!! |
I do! He just gives me that look and I have to hug and kiss him! :) |
Hi! I am new to YT but was wondering what color Beau was when he was younger? Did he always have the lighter coloring or was he black and gold as a baby? |

Yorkchon A Yorkchon is a Yorkie/Bichon Frise so I hope its ok for Lucy :aimeeyork and I to be on this forum!!! |
Hi! I was wondering if Beau's tail is docked? I have a Maltese/Yorkie mix also (Maltese mom and Yorkie Dad) named Mason. I did not have his tail docked. I am not planning on docking his tail but I was wondering if all Yorkies tails are docked. Right now he looks all yorkie but I was interested in seeing your pics. Thanks for posting them, Beau is a doll!! I know that being a mixed, I won't know what Mason is going to end up looking like for quite some time. He is only about 15 weeks old. But after seeing a lot of pics of Yorkies, here and on other sites, I guess you never know exactly what they are going to look like when they are grown. They all have their own look. My best friend has a registered Yorkie and often sees her baby's brother from the same litter. She has told me that they look nothing alike. If she didn't know her breeder personally, she said she would question if they came from the same litter. Of course, we agree that her baby is the prettier of the two!! |

Is the coat of a Yorkchon a lot of trouble? I wanted one but my groomer said it was a pain. |
