Hairy Monster and Lambkins

I swear my girls are getting way too hairy!! :) This is what they look like when they go about 2 minutes without being fussed with!!

Kalina's hair is almost down to the floor and it's sooo thick! And her belly has already been shaved once!! I'm thinking it must be genetic. Matty is at the in between stage - bangs are too long for her to see and too short to keep in a band.

I took these pictures today of my "Hairy Monster" and "Lambkins". :D

Those pics cracked me up. My Trixie is almost 4 mos. and I've noticed the hair growing by the day. I have had to brush her much more often as well. I love the shaggy look of your puppy and can't wait til Trixy's hair gets that long. I do have a couple of helpers in this dept. My twin 9 yr old daughters love to brush our dogs.

Rascal (our Westie) is so proud after we groom him. He knows he gets more attention.

You just need a couple helpers!

I groom them every morning and put a nice band or bow in the bigger one's hair (topknot). Almost immediately the little one tugs and rips the band out of her hair, which is making some of her hair come out BY THE ROOTS. So, I no longer put the bands in unless I am taking her out, dressing her up, etc. until the puppy is big enough to stop pulling them out. Hence the naturale look. :)

Yes, I do the same (not every morn. tho). I only put the bow in her hair if I'm taking her out. She doesn't seem to mind, but I don't like my hair in a pony tail all the time either!

Have you tried a grooming spray? This may help keep the hair from looking unbrushed.

I've tried different products, but they get messy really fast. :)
