Buddy's Makeover

Buddy is now skirtless! Time for a change.
How do you like it?
At first I thought he looked like a cocker spaniel:p
His coat is very shinny and I love the coloring on his legs, & head.
If I keep him cut down like this his black back is dominant against
the deep gold. If I let his coat grow in there is alot of blonde mixed
in so I like it short.
Any suggestions are welcome. I'm learning so any help I can get is
really appriciated. His tail is still coming in. I want it alittle longer.

Buddy is POSING up a storm !! I bet he loves his new 'do' and I'm SO tempted to get my girls cut short again - it's so easy to take care of !!

He looks sooooooooooooo handsome but then - he always does !

He looks great! I can't believe you could do that well! How do you keep the hair on his back so even? Which trimmer and which attachment do you use?

I used the Andis clipper set at the highest level with the 1/8" comb
attached. I usually use the 1/4" comb but wanted to experiment.
It did come shorter. In one area I even tried the clipper with out the
comb:eek: Don't try it! Went right down to the skin. He has one patch that
looks like a piece of velvet without the velvet on it! Thank heavens I
didn't cut him. I'm learning something new everytime I groom him.

Buddy Buddy Buddy, we LOVE Buddy!! :D He looks wonderful :thumbup: He's so nice and shiney, love it. :) He's one of those babies you look at and just know he's the sweetest little guy around. My girls said to give buddy kisses from them. ;)
