he's adorable!!:) and he looks ALL yorkie to me!?! my mom's yorkie is purebred(with papers) and at about 3 years old weighs 9lbs! ..there are some 'teapots' on here(purebred) who weigh 12,13,14,15+ pounds! ..more cuteness to love!!:D

Oh he is a doll. He sure looks like a pure-bred Yorkie to me too. Congrat's on your baby. Yorkies come in all sizes. Don't even worry about the weight. He's a beauty just like he is. :thumbup:

Ahhh....he is so adorable! I'm so glad he's got you to love and care for him. Poor little guy...I can't imagine anyone dropping him off and leaving him to fend for himself!

He's a real doll baby!! My Soleil is 8 months old and gets car sick...she shakes and carries on until she makes herself sick..:( so it may just be he is just car sick..

He is sure a handsome boy..you really did luck out with him!!

The vet had guessed his age at being under 1 in December as he still had some puppy teeth so he may be a little younger or older.
He hasn't been sick in the car for the past 5/6 journeys so it may be that he's growing out of it or that he's becoming more confident.

I'm still not sure if he's pure Yorkie as he was a stray and I thought that maybe when he was clipped it would be easier to tell. So what does anyone think? He's relatively big compared to some on here. He weighs 9lbs and is 12 months old.

he has all the markings and features of a yorkie, reminds me of my Scooby only bigger. He may be mixed with silky if he is that big. Really cute, did you say a STRAY?:eek: you relly got lucky here, I wonder if he was someone's and he lost his way home?

Went back and looked the pics, he looks 100% yorkie to me, can you take more of him that ware not when he is moving please, would love to see the full features of him. But I think he is 100% yorkie, you are very lucky

Ok you asked for more pics :) He's 11 inches from front paw to the highest point of his shoulder.

I'm still puzzling and puzzling over why he was out on his own. He was unchipped, no collar, had fleas and was skinny. I registered that he was lost with local vets, police, shelters and pounds and also looked on all the lost and found sites countrywide. Nothing! He was obviously quite well cared for as he could already sit on command and loved cuddles on my knee:confused: When I think what people pay for YTs I certainly did get lucky!

Thanks for posting them, he is gorgeous and ALL yorkie to me not a drop of anything else he is pure yorkie, maybe somebody put him out, is he potty trained? If not some moron must have thrown him out or he ran away? Poor baby, I am glad he found a loving home. How old do you think he is?

He is an absolute lovely dog, and 150% yorkie. He reminds me of my Scoobydo who died on the 17th of this month, he also looks like maybe no older than a year, check his teeth and paws, did you take him to the vet for a determination as to his age? sometimes they can tell by the teeth I think. he is just sweet as can be.

Do you have pics before the hair cut? I would like to see them.

I also thought that he looks like Scoobydo when I've seen pics of him that you'd posted :) Yes, vet said about 12 months so we've made a birthday for him on the 4th of Jan. He was potty trained apart from the occasional 'gift' he leaves. Maybe once a fortnight.

Oh wow, he is a doll, before and after his haircut. You were so lucky. I am very happy he has found a forever home. :thumbup:

Looks like purbreed yorkie to me. My Toto weighs 10.7 lbs. and he has papers. Of course, he can't read them so he dosen't know that he may be slightly overweight! ;)

You really are lucky, I hope he is happy as well. He sure looks like my scooby:( . He really is adorable and has such a lovely color coat, Is he neutered or in tact?
