Eddie has been in prime moose-sniffing mode lately since one has been hanging out at the park. Here are some pictures of today's hunt.

1. Jack: "Do you see anything?"
2. Eddie: "No, but I SMELL something!"
3. And there he is! Well, there he slept last night."
4. "Run for your lives!"

Eddie - you're suppose to be hunting moose!!! That means you hunt them down, not run from them!!!!!!

Your pics are great. They look like they are having so much fun in the snow. It finally snowed here yesterday (just a little bit) but I was surprised at how much Kalina liked the snow. I had to drag her inside after a long while. How long do you let them stay out in the snow? Just wonderin'.

Our walks are usually about 20-30 minutes. I end up picking Jack up about half way because he starts shivering or stops walking. Eddie can stay out as long as he keeps moving.

I love the pic of Eddie smellling and how Jack is perfectly in the background. I love that they were thier boots. I don't know if my boys would ever get used to them. Always love you pics and the ongoing saga of the moose hunt!

Looks like a lot of fun, I think a nice moose hunt might even get Bella and Coco willing to walk in the snow. I really love all your pictures. tfs

4-pound, 12-year-old Jack does, so I don't keep him out very long. With a coat and booties, Eddie would want to stay out all winter.

LOL....they're all so cute! It's so great that Rusty gets along with the two little guys! And Jack looks so handsome in his parka and boots! Just looking at all that snow makes me shiver though!

Oh the scary moose! Tell Eddie I was charged by a mosse once and they are VERY scary so I understand his fear very well :)

I thought about you guys this morning. Took the monkeys for a walk and it was only 10 degrees (that's cold for here). Simon needed a fleece snowsuit like Eddie and Jacks. Hallie got carried so she was ok :)

Thanks, everybody! Moose hunting is hard work, so it's nice to be appreciated. And yes, Twala, I like the fierce description. Much better than cute or baby.

That sniffing picture was just hilarious. He was walking a few feet from where the moose had been lying. His head popped up, his neck stuck out, and he stood there sniffing for about 15 seconds. I was laughing out loud.

Mike, you have such brave boys. The things they sacrifice to get those great pics. ;) Mine would not be able to help them at all. The best our team could do would be to hang out inside screaming "here moosie moosie".
We are having a hard time today just facing the temps here. (barely 50 degrees).

Makes me wish we were up there so Azrael & Zada (maybe baby Raziel too) could hunt down Mr. Bullwinkle too! :D I especially like the sniffing part!! hehe!
